Oh, My little sparrow,
has winter made you cold?
Have the bitter winds . . .
taken you from my fold?

Did the lack of Son shine,
cause you to forget My light?
Did its stark coldness,
make you to flee into the night?

When did you realize,
the bleakness of your day?
What was it that happened
that made you fly away?

When winter come along,
do not freeze in your fear
for I will keep you warm
and dry your every tear.

Don't you know I'm with you,
in every winter, season . . .
and when life becomes frigid
there is an eternal reason.

Oh, My little sparrow,
has the winter made you cold?
Do not let the bitter winds . . .
take from Me ~ your heart and soul!
