Carousel

I am trapped on a carousel that takes me round and round
As I ride the horses of sin that take me up and down.

At first the rides were glorious and a lot of fun
But I began to grow weary as I jumped from one to one.

Sin spinning me round and round but taking me nowhere at all
I can't keep this up much longer I know I am soon to fall.

A horned clown stands in the middle pointing and laughing at me
As I try to stop the carousel to escape this madness holding me!

I pass friends with outstretched hands as I spin out of control
The price for riding Sin's Horses has taken a terrible toll!

I climbed on board at the beginning with a great big grin
Now I cannot escape this terrible carousel of sin!

I am on a Pale horse now with Hell following close behind
I cried "God will you help me would you be so kind?

Suddenly a blinding white light from where I could not tell
A Man in White appeared carrying the Keys to Hell.

He wore a Crown of Thorns and spoke of Amazing Grace
The carousel began to slow as I looked into His face.

If you are on a carousel of sin on that path you trod
The only way to get off is thru Jesus the Son of God.

Please heed the warning in this rhyme really well
Jesus is the only one who can take you off Sin's Carousel.
