Give Thanks

There is a Christian in our office we nick named Holy Blaine
One day he was listening as we all grumbled and complained.

He stopped our office staff in their tracks like a derailed train!
As we heard his humble prayer we hung our heads in shame:

"Lord, I thank you for my boss and my job today!
I thank you for a voice so that I can talk and pray."

"I thank you for ears and eyes that work to hear and see
"I thank you for the precious family that you have given me!"

"I thank you for being worthy to be called Holy Blaine
"I thank you for the Cross where you died and bore my shame."

"I thank you for good health to work and make a living
"I thank you for countless blessings that you are always giving."

"I thank you for two working legs that let me run and walk.
I thank you for a normal face so folks don't stare and gawk."

"I thank you for the sunrise you give to begin my day!
"I thank you for saving my soul and showing me The Way."

"I thank you for the promise that you will soon arrive!"
"Lord, I thank you for just simply.. Being Alive!

"Thank you for taking away my old grumbling heart
Thank you for saving me and giving me a new start."

"Thank you for your Word that never leaves me guessing
It has taught me to give thanks for each and every blessing."
