We are all born with blinded eyes
Blinded by Sin and the Father of Lies
A Vail of Darkness covers our face
Hiding the Truth of Amazing Grace.

Grace came down to this old earth
Grace was born of a Virgin birth
Grace came in the form of Jesus Christ
Grace took our place and paid Sin's Price.

Upon a Bloody Cross Grace did prevail
Two nail scarred hands parted the Vail
Oh Sinner run quickly to the Cross
Humbly bow err your soul be lost!

It is a sad thing when a man dies
Still blinded by Sin and The Father of Lies
Oh Sinner run quickly to God's Light
Let Amazing Grace restore your sight!

It is a sad thing when a man dies
