Are You Sick or Healed?

by Olawale Ogunsola
10/08/2012 / Health

People who suffer from one ailment or another never delay seeking a way out of their predicament. Such people are aware of the fact that failure to find a solution will eventually lead them into the grave earlier than it should be.
Have you, dear reader, suffered from ill-health before? What was your reaction to an unexpected breakdown of your system? How comfortable were you?
Perchance, maybe you are experiencing any pain in a part of your body now, how are you feeling? Can you afford to live with any type of sickness for the rest of your life?
I believe your answer is "No!" Most especially when you know there is a cure for it. Even if you do not know the place or person where and who can administer the cure, you ask people, because of the pain involved and what it can lead to, death.
When you finally meet the "Doctor", you will explain things to him or her. After this, you will do whatever the "Doctor" tell you to do without arguement.
Whatever he brings to administer on you will be taken with faith that you will be healed.
Are you aware of a type of sickness that every man suffer from? Every person has been infected from the womb and the sickness ruins human race.
The Psalmist declared some thousands years ago in chapter fifty-one verse five that
"Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me."
That is the plight of every man or woman. Unlike the physical sickness, people do not seek any healer for this sickness. Yet, the end result of it is eternal death except cured.
Romans chapter three verse twenty-six informs us
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
The after-effect is to receive the wages, if not healed. Romans 6:23 states
"For the wages of sin is death, ...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
If every man is sin-sick, including you, and the wage is death, must not man accept a free gift of healing from God without argument? We read in John 3:16 that
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
That is God's provision to heal the sick mankind. It is not a matter of religion, no matter how good it is, can heal you of sin. Except if it will give you additional burdens.
When UNICEF provides immunisation materils, it crosses across religion. So also is God's provision or "immunisation". All that you must do NOW is to accept the fact that you are a sin-sick and that you can not heal yourself of the sin-sickness.
Confess your sins and ask God to forgive you in Jesus' Name. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and never go back to your sins. Get a copy of The Holy Bible. Join an assembly of Bible Believers for your Christlike growth.
Stay blessed and rapturable.
