The Vital Question.

by Olawale Ogunsola
10/08/2012 / Relationships

The role played by asking relevant questions in the life of mankind can never be overstressed.
To make any headway in life, it is very important to ask yourself, as well as others, relevant questions to obtain the desired answers.
The same holds for the relationship between you and God. Many people failed to ask necessary questions that will bring about a new, better and solid relationship between them and God.
Some ask wrong questions. Those that lead to debate and outbursts of anger. Such people are called "wicked" by Job in chapter twenty-one and in verses fourteen and fifteen saying,
"Yet they say to God, 'Depart from us,
For we do not desire knowledge of Your ways.
Who is the Almighty, that we should serve Him?
And what profit do we have if we pray to Him?' "
These were some of the questions asked by those who do not desire knowledge of the Ways of God.
However, for those who did not know but want to know the way of God, they desire the knowledge of it and ask individually:
"...what must I do to be saved?" Acts 4:30.
If your own question differs, it means that you are not yet ready to fine-tune your relationship with God, your Maker.
That is a very dangerous stand to take. You can not say precisely what will happen in the next minutes. So desire to know the answer NOW and take positive steps.
The answer to the vital question now is:
"Believe on the Lord
Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and
your household." Acts 16:31.
Why? The reason is that Jesus Christ is the Way but not one of the ways to reconcile man to God.
The Son of God became the Son of man so that the sons of man will become the sons of God.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name." John 1:12
Chapter three of the Gospel according to John in verse eighteen adds,
"He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
Do you want to know more why the belief must be in the Name of Jesus Christ? We read in Acts 4:12,
"Nor is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."
Therefore, admit the fact that you are a sinner. Confess and repent of them. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. Obtain a copy of the Holy Bible. Read and meditate therein daily and follow His commandments. Join an assembly of children of God for fellowship and growth.
Stay blessed and rapturable.
