His Awesome Love

When you awoke this morning He hoped you would look His way
He just longed to hold you for a moment as you began your day.

A tear ran down His face and dropped onto the floor
As you never acknowledged Him and walked on out the door.

He sat by you in the car and rode with you to your job
You never spoke a word to Him and that made Him sob.

He followed you all the day in the form of an unseen dove
He was looking for all opportunities to reveal His awesome love.

He loves you with all His heart and has given His all for you
He longs to be close to you in everything you do.

He has stood beside you through times of happiness and pain
With His arms outstretched, hoping for your love to gain.

He cries when you cry and catches your falling tears
He longs to embrace you and protect you from all your fears.

How long will you ignore His love so true and great!
What you do with His love will determine your eternal fate.

His love for you is greater than any other love on earth
But you will never experience it without a Spiritual birth!

Love like you have never known reaches out to you every day
His Father calls Him "Jesus, The Word, and The Way!
