When life seems impossible,
with its demands, burdens and cares
when everything looks dark and bleak
take it all ~ to God in your prayers.

For He holds your soul in His hand,
and your life He wears on His heart
though you may feel small and weak
He will keep you from falling apart.

He will restore your weary soul,
and bring fresh comforts to your life
with new power and the strength
to give Him ~ your grief and strife.

Oh, the stumbling blocks are many,
and you're bound to fall some days
but He'll not let you plummet into ruin
He will not let your feet ~ slip away.
