LORD LIQUOR

Lord Liquor is an idol worshipped far and near
He's supposed to bring pleasure and bring you good cheer.
About Lord Liquor there is nothing good to be said
Because Lord Liquor is the reason that many are dead.
Among this Lord's followers there is high death rate
With each drink Lord Liquor plots out their fate.
Torn bodies in wrecks in the heat of the sun
Lord Liquor laughs and says "To drink is much fun!"
Many worship Lord Liquor and pray: "Give me a thrill!"
Lord Liquor answers their prayer, their blood he does spill.
Lord Liquor has torn many a dear home to shreds
Mom and Dad far apart, children cry on their beds.
The Bible says about Heaven, "No drunkard can go there!"
But Ole Lord Liquor's followers just don't seem to care.
Every alcoholic began, "I'll just drink one and that's it!"
Then Lord Liquor grabbed him and he just couldn't quit.
Many tithe to Lord Liquor to attain a foul breath
These tithes help Lord Liquor run his Brewery of Death!
Lord Liquor's followers show little concern for those gone
Until their Lord requires death in their very own home.
If your Lord Liquor's follower please listen to me well
Each dollar you give him sends some soul to Hell.
You say, "To hell with those killed on the road!"
Sit back and drink until you swell like a toad!
Those children and grandkids that you love so much
Which one do you want in Lord Liquor's deadly clutch?
At the next worship service when Lord Liquor you buy
Just think about the millions your Lord caused to die.
If your Lord Liquor's follower you are blinded by sin
You'll never understand this until you've been Born Again!
If you're not a follower but this Idol you sell
You'll likely join the followers one day in Hell.
Jesus Christ died on a cross for you and me
If you'll let Jesus save you then you will see.
Those who sell Lord Liquor are blinded by greed
They will always justify it this unholy breed.
They boast, "I don't force people to come and buy!"
They pocket the money as one leaves to die!
They rush to restock with much energy and vigor
They must assist Lord Liquor in pulling the trigger.
