God is a Heavenly gunfighter
His aim is straight and true
His bullet will never miss
No matter what you do!

His revolver is custom made and
Crafted by His own hand
Engraved with a Mighty Lion
Jesus the Son of man.

He has been in untold shootouts
He has never lost a fight
He is the Mighty Marshall
Of all that is Good and Right.

He loves every showdown
With Satan and his crew
He is wary of all their tricks
Knows exactly what to do.

He loads his gun with love
And fires away at hate
When Satan puts forth a challenge
He never shows up late.

His greatest shootout to date
Was on Golgotha's Hill
Where Satan caused
Our precious Lord's blood to spill.

Satan thought he would win
That showdown from the start
But God's hollow point of love
Went right through Satan's heart!
