A good mother is a gift
That God sends from Heaven above.

God arms her with Heavenly weapons
She carries the guns of love.

She never thinks of herself
And she is always on call.

She is johnny on the spot
When she sees her little one fall.

Good mothers are hard to find
In this old day and time.

Some children have never known one
And that is such a crime.

A godly mother is a treasure
Worth more than all the gold.

And Mother will always be special!
Whether she is young or old.
