The Light of Christ

Adams transgression with Eve
Brought forth a curse of death.

So we descended from Adam
With this curse upon our breath.

Satan the God of this world
Has blinded the minds of men
We can't perceive our fallen condition
That we are born in sin.

We are on a path of death
But, this we cannot tell
Satan our unseen master
Is marching us to hell!

As we walk this path of darkness
God shines His light here and there
A few will go running to it
Most, march on without a care!

Jesus is the Light of Salvation
Shinning out to you and me
Let us run to His Light
Then our blinded minds will see.

God's Light shines in many ways
Even through these words herein
To bring us out of darkness
And to deliver us from sin!
