What Is Sin?

Sin is the ultimate enemy of every living soul
Sin eats away at morality and leaves a nasty hole.

Sin is an enemy darker than the darkest night.
Sin is the destroyer of all that is good and right.

Sin's appetite is never satisfied on its path of corruption
You had better flee from Sin and heed God's instruction.

Sin works covertly through the art of seduction
Smiling at you as it fashions designs for your destruction!

God says that Sin can be enjoyable for a season
Then inflict on us a deadly blow of treason!

You can see Sin at work if you just look around
You will see Sin's many victims all throughout your town.

The homeless drunk, the prostitute and the common thief
Sin will damn your soul and fill your heart with grief!

Does Sin have you bound? Does Sin guide your way?
When it comes to Sin there is only one thing to say.

Jesus died for all men to break Sin's terrible hold
Jesus offers salvation worth more than all the gold.

If you want a joy filled life on that path you trod
Just break free from Sin by giving your heart to God.

We can receive salvation by making God our choice
When we give our hearts to Jesus His angels will rejoice!
