When We Fail To Pray

When we fail to pray we fail to see
Our eyes grow dimmer till we're blind as can be.

When we fail to pray church becomes a bore
We get in our flesh and slam the door!

When we fail to pray others are always wrong
We can't see the blessings in our very own home!

When we fail to pray Satan draws us nearer
We can't see the faults of the one in the mirror!

When we fail to pray to the Lord above
We lose our burden for the ones we love!

When we fail to pray nothing ever goes right
A molehill is a mountain and we want to fight!

When we fail to pray life becomes a real bore
Because we can't feel the joy Jesus gives anymore!

When we fail to pray it's easy to tell
That we don't care if everyone goes to hell!

When we fail to pray let's count the cost
Of our own flesh and blood that may be lost!

When we fail to pray who will pray for them
Who follow Satan's every whim?

When we fail to pray for those out in sin
They may never know Jesus and be born again!

When we fail to pray well who can tell
Will we make it to Heaven?
Or go to Hell?
