God is the source of all
Truth, wisdom and of peace
All mankind does need Him
For life is but a lease

His Son was given here
As sinless sacrifice
For mankind who would lose
All but eternal life

A true heart seeking Christ
One who strives consistently
Is promised a reward
From God for eternity

Of an eternal calling
When a heart after our Lord
Desires to be near to Him -
Will be bound Heavenward

For those who choose to strive
In Truth and desire more
Here in this earthly life
Will end up on Heaven's shore
