The Valley of Decision

by Gregory Booker
10/27/2012 / Prophecy

In response to the Mayan culture prediction of world coming to an end 21Dec 2012 of which many seem to be thinking of. I decided to revisit the Bible to see what God's word had for us as Christians. Biblically speaking, the Battle of Armageddon is located in the Valley of Jehoshaphat which is outside of the borders of Israel. Some nations deny Israel's right to exist but that is not what our God thinks. Let us hear from one of his prophets, Joel:

Joel 3:9-16 " Proclaim this among the nations: prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near...let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say I am strong. Assemble and come all you nations and gather together all around....Let the nations be wakened and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. From there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations. Put in the sickle for the harvest is ripe. Come and go down; for the winepress is full and the vats overflow, for their wickedness is great. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. .....the Lord will also roar from Zion and utter His voice from Jerusalem, The heavens and the earth will shake. But the Lord will be a shelter for His people. And the strength for the children of Israel."

What a declaration by the Spirit of God to prophet Joel about the the destiny of Israel. This kind of victory has yet to occur for Israel but the potential of it's reality is before us on world news with vivid threats against Israel as we see daily. There truly seems to be some unfinished business that our Creator has with his creation. Is it what men think versus what God thinks? Clearly God is defending Israel when nations are trying to destroy it! I notice quite often in the prophetic scheme of things God uses "nations". No time fits that scenario like now. Nostradamus got nothing compared to what the biblical prophets proclaim and how much of the picture is fitting our generation. I'll take the words of Joel over the Mayans 2012 mystics any day. What side of the battle shall we take. Shall it be 'Men of war" bent on proving their self righteous dogma by destroying or the "Lion of Judah" our God of mercy but who will defend in the Valley of Decision. A decision we will all be making in God's time!

"Inspired Writings of a Prophet for Jesus the Christ" was released in 2012 and has a press release at link http://www.prweb.com/releases/2012/2/prweb9173531.htm
God is looking for a few good watchmen to stand at the gates from the walls of Jerusalem and declare a few things by His Word.
