It took God to build a world
And hang it out in space.
It took God to make the clay,
Shape it, and mold it.
That it may breathe the breath of life,
Become a living soul.
It took God to be mindful of man
That His Spirit may dwell among mankind.
When breath is gone, the soul is gone.
The believers spirit returns to God.
Thanks be to God for all the gifts
He has given, He has risen.
Thank Him for eternal life,
Today He lives.
