I tuck the Word in my heart,
then go about my way
I know having the truth in me
will take me through my day.
I get such joy and pleasure,
in every delightful saying
I can hear the Word's of God
whenever I am praying.
I long to have study time,
to meditate and learn
for I desire that the Word
be the only lamp I burn.
Upon my lips I do savor,
every morsel that I've heard
to me there is nothing more
satisfying than the Word.
I tuck the Word in my heart,
for it renews me day-to-day
it goes with me wherever I go
for it is the light unto my way.

unto my path."
