THERE IS COMFORT IN THE SCRIPTURES

Vs1:
There is comfort in the Scriptures
Which bestows holy pleasures
When nothing else seems real or true
The Living word remains true

Vs2:
Through the dark nights of depression
When in doubt and confusion
To the word I run for fresh grace
I love the sweet warmth embrace

Vs3:
From the Lord's word cometh my strength
In the word anchors my faith
When I'm despised, hurt, forsaken
The word heals when I'm broken

Vs4:
Holy Spirit, send forth Your word
Your eternal word of Peace
I need a word from You Lord
Still my storms, let faith increase

Nothing comforts when we face tribulation in the world like the word of God. In it there is life and spirit of faith to spring up above the sinking sands of this life unto the Solid and steadfast Rock- Jesus Christ the Righteous.
