Alone
by Stephen Vattimo
1/03/2013 / Poetry
Living life alone,
Is like sailing a dark, cold, ocean.
You only feel the warm of love in your dreams.
Living life alone,
when the raging waves of life toss you overboard,
there is no one to pull you back into the boat.
No one to dry you off, and rap you in a warm blanket.
Living life alone,
the ocean of life, make you feel so small.
When things look hopeless,
Their is no one around to encourage you to sail on.
Living life alone,
watching a romance movie,
Is like a cold two edge sword,
that cuts you soul to the core.
The only warmth you feel,
is your own blood spilled out on the jagged rocks of life.
Living life alone,
The only hope you have in life,
Come from searching the distant shore line,
For the light house of Jesus Christ.
Trusting His light,
will guide you to the safely of the shores of the promise land.
A land of love,warmth,and light.
Living life alone,
Is like sailing a dark, cold, ocean.
