Heās not such a fine
catch my young lady
ācause heās from
the other side of the tracks
father not the right
colour of skin
nor belonging to the proper
club -- besides heās just
a garbage man and works
with smelly stuff
all the day. And his kids
dress kind of funny
some with patches on the seat
of their pants even though
it was a fad not too long ago.
And they even go to church
on Sunday all dressed to the hilt
meaninā the childrenās hair
is combed. Yes dear the one
you kind of like
is not the one we want
you to see. But
she still loves him.
