A Glimpse Of Hell

by Robert Coskrey
5/29/2007 / Poetry

The after life is
A place of separation,
Eternal damnation,
Outer darkness,
A place of suffering,
From which no one can escape.
In this place, there is no comfort,
No quench from the fire.
No second chance to find God.
A place of remembrance.
living with no fear of God,
Living in blatant sin,
Claiming to know God,
Hearing those terrible words:
Depart from Me. I never knew you.
Lived life how they please,
These are memories that won't die.
They live for all eternity
With a glimpse of Hell.
