I have been thinking about the blessing from the Lord called Faithwriters: the site we post articles and poems on. What a blessing this site is.
One of the greatest blessings is that this is a tool the Holy Spirit is using to bring people to a saving knowledge of Jesus. It is an honor and privilege to be able to be a part of these life changing experiences that are occurring.
To me, Faithwriters is a open door for the Gospel. It is an open door to share not only your experiences with the Lord, but also your God given talents. I find that though sometimes I am unable to share what the Lord teaches me in some places and churches, this has been a great opportunity to share with others things that maybe they don't get elsewhere. I write only to help others in their walk with the Lord. If something that the Lord teaches me to share helps a person see a new perspective of truth in God's Word, then I am blessed. God gives to each of us a puzzle piece so to speak. Collectively all the pieces coming together will make the full picture. There are many puzzle pieces shared here at Faithwriters. We need to hear all the testimonies of what God does. It encourages, builds, and strengthens our faiths. We need to hear all the insights the Holy Spirit gives as it brings truth to us and sets us free. Truths are sometimes hard to swallow, yet if we learn to be open to what is said, verify it with God's Word, and listen to our spirit; it often will protect us and keep us on track with the Lord. Walking with Jesus is not always easy as many have discovered. There is much opposition from the world views and the devil. There are many temptations, distractions, and side roads from the enemy. Wisdom is so needed and will keep us from going down roads that seem right, but in the end will kill us. Faithwriters has many writings that show the wisdom of the Lord and will help us to keep our focus, stand, and pursue our calls and finish the race before us.
I hope that every member and reader will recognize the true blessing that the Lord has made available to us through Faithwriters, and its owners/stewards Mike and Bea Edwards. This site is quite the undertaking and I am sure requires much time and effort on their part. I know their hearts. They are very special people that are dedicated to following the leading of the Holy Spirit. They have a deep love for people (souls). They are very kind and generous. They have shown to me much love and have always been an encouragement to me. I hope and pray that each member of Faithwriters and all the readers will keep them in their prayers and support them in any way the Holy Spirit may lead. They always need strength, wisdom, guidance, and financial support. This is the way God made the church. We do things together. So many things of the Lord get taken for granted. I pray that everyone will get behind these two blessings and just be obedient to whatever He would ask. Faithwriters is needed and is touching people from all over the world. Where else can we do this with so little asked of us?
If you ever feel the need to send encouragements to Mike and Bea, please do. They need them just as we all do. Let us together reach the world for Jesus with our individual gifting from the Lord. Together we can and I believe are, making a difference in countless lives.
I am a 63 year old Born-Again spirit filled Christian, that has been saved for 30 years. Jesus found me when I was suicidal. I learned real quickly that I was powerless to be in control of my life, so I let Jesus take over. He has chosen me to be a warrior for Him. WE win, if we fight His way.
