Lord, open my eyes,
so that I might see
the envy and pride
living inside of me.

Let me look upon,
the lust in my heart
help me to understand
what keeps us apart.

Make my soul ready,
for what You reveal
let me be appalled
so I may be healed.

Let me not turn away,
from the horrific sight
but fill my vision
with Your wondrous light.

Lord, open my eyes,
peer into my soul
make my view clear
so I can be whole!
