HOPE IN GOD

GOD is good and He is good all the time. However, the outcomes of His goodness may not always be immediately apparent to His own. Sometimes, this is because He hides those outcomes for a while. At other times, it is because we are overwhelmed by the difficulties of life. Whatever the case, it is important to pay close attention to those manifestations of His goodness that are visible in our daily lives, and set our minds on them. As we do, we will find ourselves rising above any clouds of darkness that may threaten to subdue us. If we focus on Gods goodness, the joy therefrom will ultimately flush out every trace of discouragement that may be upon our minds.

God is good all the time. Even when life is bleak and all hope seems lost, confidence in the One whose love never fails brings a spark and strong motivation for living.

The worst kind of misery that can be faced in life is not misery from difficult circumstances (as challenging as this may be), but it is the misery that results from the loss of Gods favor, for from this calamity there is no deliverance! (Matthew 10:28) In every other situation, the Bible tells us that God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). In other words, as long as we have His favor, we can have hope and trust Him to rescue us from every difficulty!
