LEN'S LINES --- A Little Religion On A Positive Note By Len Granger

Spreading the Gospel

We see in the Bible where our Lord Jesus Christ speaks to us; John 15: 16 and 17, " Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and your fruit shall remain that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another".

Our small country church preaches the Gospel Truth and members try to the best of their ability spread the the good Word to all we come in contact with and around the world.

Recently the Lord opened the most amazing door to spread the Gospel with the Island People of Fiji welcoming the gift of the King James Version of the Holy Bible to every student in the country. It was approved by the government at the highest levels including the Prime Minister and became known as the Fiji Island Bible Project --" Lighting the Future of Fuji" It was an enormous task having 220,000 KJV Bibles printed, transported to Fiji, and then distributed to all the students in grade, high schools and colleges in a country consisting of islands. The Fiji government is furnishing transportation to the outlying areas so volunteers can hand out the thousands of Bibles. The country is made up of Christians, Muslims, and Hindus, but all schools have agreed to accept the Bibles and will use them in the classrooms in addition to the personal copies students take home.

A married couple from our church felt led to join the Fiji Island Bible Project and recently returned from two weeks on the islands handing out Bibles. It is a project that will take many months and is joined by people from all over and of different Christian denominations. We are Christian first and all join together in spreading the Gospel to the lost world. The first shipping container of KJV Bibles arrived in the Fiji Islands on May 14, 2013 with many others to follow as more people arrive to present the Bibles to students at the schools and colleges.

In several small towns churches that have been closed are once again opening with families returning to sing and worship our most gracious and loving Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. We praise the Lord as He opens doors for all Christians to go into the world and spread the Gospel.

Trust we will all be in the church of our choice this Sunday, worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
