GOD-TRACKING IS FLOURISHING AT EVERYTHING, ONLY IN CHRIST

Dear God-tracker

GOD-TRACKING IS FLOURISHING AT EVERYTHING ONLY IN CHRIST

I know a Christian man who believed he had what it took to make it big in business, so left a secure job to open a gym. He took out a loan and hired premises. Equipping it with all the mod-cons of gym tech he opened the doors to the public. However, sadly, his business venture did not succeed. After some months of loss and growing debts he closed down the gym and then unsuccessfully attempted to find a new job. Eventually the bank foreclosed on his house and he lost everything. He and his little family moved in with his wife's parents, destitute and disappointed.

During this time of heart-searching my friend realised, in his striving to make a quick buck, he had slipped off his God track. He'd taken his eyes off of Christ and away from his word, and thought he could do it alone. Now humbled he repented and reaffirmed his walk with God. However, my friend still had the desire to flourish but now he realised that he would never succeed in business doing things his way. He realised in order to truly succeed in life he would need God's blessing on all his efforts. My friend knew that this would require acknowledging God in his business plans and seeking to honour God with every penny he earned. After some time and with a little help he was able to start a new business. Now, with a new heart, he acknowledged God in prayer, in business ethics and in giving. His new business became very successful and he began to flourish in every aspect of his life to the extent that he became a source of provision to many other people in need.

You too can flourish in every avenue of your life if you continually acknowledge God and keep your eyes on Jesus. Unlike my friend's first attempt to do things his way, if you make God your partner then you will be successful in every walk of life. Jesus flourished in his ministry as healer, teacher and saviour with the words of the Eternal Father ringing in his ears, "This is my Son whom I love, with him I am well pleased." Even in his work on the cruel cross Jesus flourished. In Christ you are forgiven and made righteous. Nothing will separate you from God's love and, because he loves you, you are more than a conqueror. Therefore, with faith in Christ you can flourish at whatever you set your hand to do if you keep your eyes on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of your faith.

God-tracking is flourishing at everything only in Christ.

God bless you

Dudley

A Sample of Dudley's Fave Quotes

"When we ask for God's blessing we're not asking for more of what we could get for ourselves, we're crying out for the wonderful, unlimited goodness that only God has the power to know about or give us." --- Bruce Wilkerson

Don't Give Up, Look Up!
Look up and Fix Your Eyes on Jesus!

In you I know I can flourish!

Pray:
"Dear God, I am sorry for going it alone. I realise that I cannot be truly eternally successful at anything without your blessing. Therefore, today I reaffirm my acknowledgement of you as Lord of my family, my business, my career and my recreational life. I take my eyes off of self and fix them on Jesus, author of my faith. I commit my plans to you and seek your hand on all I set my hand to do. Lord, guide me in my choices and help me to be successful, according to your will for my life. In you I know I can flourish! Amen."
