Vs1:
Destroy not your walk with Jesus
Do not fulfill your fleshly lust
Flee from all that do grieve His heart
Oh from all secret sins depart!

Vs2:
What does it profit to please self
And lose fellowship with Jesus?
Would you rather "enjoy" this life,
And at last lose eternal Life?

Vs3:
The Presence of Christ in your life
Is the greatest thing to preserve
Oh, may you trade it for nothing
Esteem it as your everything!

Vs4:
I will watch my walk with Jesus
That nothing should come between us
The joy of knowing Christ alone
Is worth more than countless a gold!

Vs5:
Destroy not your walk with Jesus
If you let this treasure be lost
You'll come seek it with tears, pleading
And then may not find it freely

Vs6:
Have you lost your walk with Jesus?
Have you slipped away from His cross?
Rejoice, beloved, it's not too late
Come now to Christ again by faith
