The Vision of Victory

I was sitting on the floor of this large empty room. It seemed more like part of a warehouse. The room was dimly lit with shadows all around except for a light shining down on me. I was dressed in casual jeans and a shirt. What was so unusual about this vision was that I was under attack by Satan and his demons. Though all I was doing was sitting on the floor without any type of weapon I wasnt unarmed. The attackers were closing in on me while they hurled insults and threats at me. They were picking things from my past to hold up to me. My failures, my mistakes, my bad decisions and sinful past. They narrowed their attacks and aimed their arrows at the weak areas of my life. I sat there with my head hanging down in silence. I didnt look at them or say anything. I wasnt running from them or trying to get away. I wasnt scared, or stressed, or worried, I wasnt terrified or panicked. I was filled with peace and joy just sitting there.

Suddenly I raised my head and started laughing at them. I was laughing more and more almost uncontrollably. They stopped dead in their tracks with puzzled looks on their faces. They asked me, "Why are you laughing?" I stopped and said, "I am laughing at you." "At us, why" they replied. I said to them, "Because you are so foolish." They scoffed, "Foolish?" I said, "Yes foolish. For you have decided to attack my weaknesses." They replied, " How does that make us foolish?" I said, "Because my God is made powerfully strong in my weaknesses. So when you attack me you are attacking God." Then I saw myself sitting on the floor and a bright light started to shine from behind me. A large figure started to rise from behind me and continued to grow bigger and bigger as I started laughing again. It was Jehovah God in all of His glory. I didn't see His face but I knew it was Him. Satan and his demons all fled in terror.

While all of this was happening I was not afraid but filled with such peace and joy. My trust and faith is all in my God. And that faith is honored in the victories that my God provides me! All I could do after seeing this vision was cry. I was so amazed that my God would do all of that for me, no one special! I am certain that God's Word is true and that God is true to His Word! The Bible says "do not be afraid" 365 times, one for every day of the year. When you have faith and trust in God you will not be afraid! Exodus 14:14 "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest." Your victories are found in Him!
