Hope is Lost

Written by a USMC Vet
( I can't argue with any of it. Passing it along as it was received. )
He wrote:
The American Dream ended (on November 6th) in Ohio. The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.
A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell's America.
The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch...the Pit Bull is in the back yard.
The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod, along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their beige puppet to bring us Act 2 of the New World Order.
Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own home states, and the circus fattster Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in-Chief" to Mother Teresa status.
People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will never again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired.
You will never again out vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take Zealots, not moderates--not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.
Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness.....
I'm done.

It is obvious, is it not, that this man has lost all hope? Did you notice that nowhere in there did he mention the name of God? Look at the list of those he has named as the destroyers of America. Looks like a great army doesn't it? But what does God say about great armies?

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" have ended Norman Rockwell's America.
Looks like a lot of people, doesn't it? But go with me now to Genesis, chapter 14. From verse 1 to verse 12 it talks about these four kings and their armies defeating these several towns. And then the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah partner up with 3 other kings and their armies and go to battle the four kings and their armies. "four kings against five" it says in verse 9. But the four kings defeat the five; sent them packing right through the tar pits. What a mighty army these four kings must have had. But they made a big mistake. Verse 12 tells us that these four kings "carried off Abram's nephew Lot" Now they're messing with God's people.
Verse 14, 15, and 16 tells us what happens when you mess with God's chosen people. "When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained men. With these 318 men, Abram attacked, routed and pursued these four mighty armies. "He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions" (vs. 16)
God doesn't need a large army, He needs men who trust Him. Psalm 33 has this to say about that; starting with verse 16.
"16 No king is saved by the size of his army;
no warrior escapes by his great strength.
17 A horse is a vain hope for deliverance;
despite all its great strength it cannot save.
18 But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love"
In the book of Joshua, chapter ten, we read:
5 Then the five kings of the Amoritesthe kings of Jerusalem, Hebron, Jarmuth, Lachish and Eglonjoined forces. They moved up with all their troops and took up positions against Gibeon and attacked it.
6 The Gibeonites then sent word to Joshua in the camp at Gilgal: "Do not abandon your servants. Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us, because all the Amorite kings from the hill country have joined forces against us."
7 So Joshua marched up from Gilgal with his entire army, including all the best fighting men. 8 The Lord said to Joshua, "Do not be afraid of them; I have given them into your hand. Not one of them will be able to withstand you."
"Do not be afraid of them" Do we have 318 God-fearing, God-loving, God-trusting men in this great country of ours? In 1 Timothy 2:8 Paul says; "8 Therefore I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or disputing."
Our country needs God and God wants men to pray. If we will humble ourselves and pray, God will answer. But, if we do not turn back to God, He will turn His back on us. The United States of America is under attack from within, and we cannot defeat them without God. Men everywhere; in every village, town, city and state need to raise their hands to God, confess your sin; confess Jesus as Lord; and call on His Name, and He will answer. There is no other way.

The man in the picture above has lost all hope because of what he sees going on in Washington. But he has failed to look up. He has filed to believe in the God of hope. The word hope is used over 100 times in the bible. I will mention just a few.

" remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world." (Ephesians 2:12)
" Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope." (1 Thessalonians 4:13)
"without hope and without God." " who have no hope"
There you have it. That's the man on the bench and all of you who feel that there is no hope. If you live without God, you live without hope.
