I pray for You to grant my wish,
I know You hear my prayer.
I've come to you so many times,
Is the time at hand or near?

Receiving that financial breakthrough,
Finding the love of my life,
Getting the house of my dreams,
Lord, when will I be somebody's wife?

We want our hearts' desires to be granted here and now,
But only the things that are for our good will God ever allow,
So the answer to the question when, will be answered in this rhyme,
The answer to the question when is only in His time.
