Which Good Works

1/04/2014 / Devotionals

They could not stand Jesus, this man of goodness. I just know they gritted their teeth so hard, that they bled. This new man, walking around spreading well to the people. They said it had to be stopped. They had to come up with something because it was clear that this man, Jesus; had followers. Let's look at how this could affect their lives if they were to allow Jesus to introduce the goodness to the people:
Have you seen it? Have you ever witnessed someone being called down or ignored if they were demonstrating a good thing, a good act, or passing on true good wisdom for the mind? You have seen it! We will be seeing this much more as the days pass on. Satan is on the rampage and he is out to destroy decency and Gods Law. All you have to do is read the headlines, watch the news. The story is told right there.
The stage is filled with this "same kind" of characters that decided to "deal with Jesus". The main stream media, of course is not telling us the truths about things, but you can still see these things on the news. They are sneaky, like the devil, but once you learn to use your discernment that God gives to you, you can read between the lines. It is written all over the "faces" and in their "body language". They have a goal, a common goal, and a common language. Their tower of babel is being built. They remove any good, and they make the bad look good, and the good look bad. They did the same to Jesus.
The media shorten video clips and only let you see half - truths, and remember that Jesus said "you are the children of the devil", and "the devil was a liar and murderer from the beginning". Satan delivers part truth and part lies. All it takes is a tiny bit of truth, and people follow. How else could he get so many to look his way? If he came to people as he really is, only the very evil would follow. No, he comes as an angel of light. No one in their right mind would follow, or invite him into their lives, if they saw him for what he is. They must see a bit of truth to then be convinced in the lie.
Satan cannot create, so all he can do is copy. He changed in heaven. He began thinking "I" this and "I" that. He decided he had to get rid of God, he had to "deal with Jesus", to "get rid of God". He thought he had better ideas than God, and needed to take advantage of things, and be like God. He thought he had "higher ways", and "higher thoughts", than God. Satan spreads disease, failed marriages, lost people, deceit and crime, while Jesus spreads love, happiness, balance, peace and health. Gods Ten Commandments brings truth to the soul. Satan commands lies and uncertainty.
Satan knows he cannot just come right out and say to your face and say "Hi, I am the devil; the one who hates God, follow me to hell". So, he collects some good things and throws them into a pot of evil, so that we may be distracted, attracted and deceived.
If you go to a party and you see with your eyes an open sexual perversion, drugs lying around on the table, lives being torn apart, you would not stay. If you could see the future of what it will do to you, you would decline. But, do you see your life torn apart and the destruction? No, you see fun. You see laughter and what might just LOOK LIKE fun. If you could have a looking glass into their future, then you would see what that night of fun brought them.
Look at the headlines and see how things have progressed. I first wrote this paper about 7 years ago, when I began seeing the change. Since then, much has taken place. We have seen schools changing rules, and what they offer children. We have seen major abuse from teachers, and students. We have seen Bibles removed, t-shirts with Christian logos being denied, crosses removed, "In God We Trust" removed, Gospel songs not allowed, and so on. We now see all other faiths, including witch craft and atheism being allowed, except for Christianity. We are seeing children in school taking field trips to the Muslim's faith and synagogues. They are removing the faith of Jesus Christ. Can you say there is no harm in this? How could keeping the faith of Jesus in our schools and world be good? How does removing God from the world make things better? Jesus said "What good works are you killing me for?"
This is happening, has been happening, and is nearly complete, at its end. They are killing Jesus, and Gods Spirit is about to be totally withdrawn from man.
In Isaiah 26:10: "Evil people will not learn to do well, even if you show them kindness. They will continue doing evil; even if they live in a good world; they never see the Lord's greatness; even heaven". Jesus also said "If you do not believe the things I tell you of the world, how you will ever believe the things I tell you of heaven?" I have been living this for about 7 years. I began trying to wake people up to what was happening in the world. Nothing. Asleep, they were and still are. Then, I decided that you cannot tell them just about the world, they must know all of it, and Jesus. Still nothing. Who wants to remove Jesus? Nearly everyone, except a remnant. The world is on a race to the mark. They are on a collision course straight to hell, and they say they are after peace. They will kill to get their peace. But, as Jesus says, their peace is not His peace". There is a tower of babel being built, no different than the tower of old. It just has a new name. They have a same common purpose, and God spoke of this purpose, and came down and confused their language, because they were so evil and would stop at nothing. However, this time, He shall let them build some more. In the end, they will not reach their heights, but will reach the depths. They are fallen so far into darkness, that they don't seek the true Light. They call it Light, they call their father many names, even of Christ. They have their Jesus, but it is not the true Jesus.

God gave us ears and eyes, and yet; why do some of us see the Light and hear the voice of God, while others do not? They don't want to hear. They hear what they want to hear. Children of God hear the voice of the true Shepherd, and they follow. They will not follow another voice. Do they also hear the voice of their father?
If you are a competitor; you will EVEN watch your competition to see what makes things work for them, and Satan is no dummy; he does the same. He copies God, he cannot create; so he copies. He knows his time is short, and he is on the prowl, and he will deceive even the elect, if possible.
Isaiah 26:20 says: "My people, go into your rooms and shut your doors behind you. Hide in your rooms for a short time until Gods anger is finished". (Isaiah 28:21): "He will do His strange work, His strange work He will finish, His job, His strange job". God is telling us here that He is about to unleash the cup of His wrath against sin, that is unmixed. This means mixed with NO mercy. Always before, it has been mixed with mercy, but just like at the bottom of the mount, when the children of Moses made their abominations to God, the cup will be mixed with NO mercy. What followed their pleasures with the golden calf? They were told to make their choices. Whoever would be for God should go and stand by Moses, and whoever was not, would not. They made their choice. This was a type of the end of the world, a type of probation closing, and a type of the mark of the beast. This is the same thing the Sunday law will involve.
We will be told to make our choice. Then the doors shall shut, forever. What is this strange job, this strange work of Gods? It is the unmixed cup that will pour out. It is strange because it is out of the character of Gods ways. It is not in His delight to destroy, for He would "rather all be saved". God's character is His Ten Commandments. But, He cannot rebuke His own Laws. They still stand, and they still judge those who have rejected Jesus Christ.
We are returning to Calvary, the scenes are the same. This time there will not be Jesus literally on a tree. But, the scenes, the purposes are the same. They want to kill those who love Christ Jesus. Each follower of Jesus will return unto Calvary, for their sakes; they shall return. Purifying and cleansing shall come upon them. They shall be sanctified in the day of the Lord, and they shall receive glorification. Do I mean that we all will also die on a tree?
We don't know who will lose their life, but what we do know is that some will GIVE their life for Christ. We will not lose our lives, for they are in the hands of our God. But, many shall GIVE their lives in the name of Jesus Christ. We each have that Calvary moment ahead. We each have the time of Jacob's trouble ahead, but we shall prevail, because Christ shall prevail. Not by our own might, but by the Mighty power of Him. Our lives are in order, we stand grounded in faith, and we can face the times ahead, because Jesus dwells within. We shall not fear man, for he can only take the body. We shall fear, respect the Lord, who can take both body and soul.
