With God There Is No Lack!

by Steve Countryman

I can't call it the best kept secret because it isn't a secret. I can't call it a revelation when the bible tells us about it over and over again. I guess it can be classified as the most ignored part of being a Christian. Because we ignore the fact so much and so often we cause ourselves problem after problem. It is where God's power and authority is found. It is where the peace of Jesus is located. It is where God's joy abounds. It is where contentment flourishes. It is where the treasurers of heaven are stored. It is where your blessing flow from. It is where truth reigns. It is where the heart of salvation begins. It is where God's victories are provided. It where God's anointing flows. It is where God's grace abounds. It is where healing and deliverance lives. It is where God's promises are fulfilled. It is where the gifts of the Holy Spirit are distributed. It is where wisdom and reverential fear of the Lord begins. It is where God's mercy is renewed every morning. It is where rituals, religions and traditions of men don't exist. It is where relationship with the Father starts and intimacy thrives. It is where oneness, alignment and agreement meet. It is where the kingdom of heaven is located. It is where the oil of gladness pours from. It is where the flood gates of heaven open and blessings flow.

It is what the powerful men and women of the Old Testament didn't have that we New Testament Christians do have. In fact if you could ask any of those men and women what would they give to have it, you would have heard them all say that they would have given EVERYTHING to have it! Matthew 13:44 "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field." So what is it? Colossians 1:26-27 26 "the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord's people. 27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Christ in YOU! In the Old Testament any time a miracle was done is when "the Spirit came upon them". Being a New Testament Christian means that at the time of salvation God the Father implants Jesus His Son in you through the Holy Spirit as His gift to you!

Jesus lives in you! Trying to fully understand that statement is mind boggling at best. It carries so much meaning and promise that the basic truth is that with God there is no lack! The answer to all of your problems, cares, worries and troubles is found in you, in His Word...in Jesus! Matthew 6:30-34 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

To unlock the treasures of heaven found in you, you will need to find the keys. This treasure box is full of more treasure boxes inside each other and each one requires a key to unlock it. Each treasure box is overflowing with its special treasure. Each treasure box requires a deeper level of intimacy and relationship with Father God to acquire the key. The keys are all located in His Word. The keys are your faith and belief in your God. Romans 10:17 "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Jesus said time and time again"your faith has healed you." And one of my favorites is John 11:40 Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?" Jesus tells us what the keys are to unlock those powerful treasure boxes in us. With God there is no lack! God is your Jehovah jireh, He who supplies ALL of your needs. God knows ALL of your needs before you even pray about them. He is your Jehovah rapha, the Great Physician and your healer. God heals your body, mind and spirit and delivers you from all addictions. He is your Jehovah shammah, your God who is always with you and who will never leave you. God knows all of your flaws, failures and faults and he will never abandon you! If you only have Jehovah God and nothing else you have ALL that you will ever need! "Christ in you, the hope of glory." AMEN!!
