Come the Judgment Day
by Faith Noles 3/02/2014 / Poetry
It's a troubled world we're living in,
Where people don't even know they've sinned,
They blame their sin on their childhood, the way they were raised,
But they'll stand alone come the judgment day.
When you stand before the throne of God, you won't have any alibis,
You can't con the God of truth, He won't listen to your lies.
You try to blame your sin on the world you're in or the way you've been raised.
But you're going to stand alone my friend, come the judgment day.
Smiling preacher saying he's gay,
He said, "It's not a sin, it's just a different way".
But he's a blind man headed toward his grave,
And he'll stand alone come the judgment day.
People say that God has changed,
It's a different world...nothing is the same,
But God is still holy and narrow the way,
And you're going to face Him come the judgment day.
