Matthew 28:17-20

17 And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 Jesus approached and, [a]breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them [b]into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you [c]all the days ([d]perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. [e]Amen (so let it be).

My Dear friends.
This message has been on my heart for some time and I am following the Leading of the Spirit of God as I write it.
These are some of the last recorded words of Jesus whilst he was on earth, so he sure wants them remembered.
It says that they worshipped Him, verse 17, but there was still doubt there, doubt about what you may ask, they had seeen evidence of Jesus's reserrection, they had seen his miracle working power.
Jesus has the answer to their doubt in verse 18, he said that all authority was given to Him.
Because of what he says in verse 18, we can be confident of our commission in verses 19-20.
This is not just a commission to evangelize the world, we have to do follow up and bringing men and women to maturity in Christ
We have to baptize these believers, they have to know the realization of being buried with Christ in baptism Romans 6:1-4. Just like the early church did, we have to do the same.
Baptism was an outward sign of an inner commitment, it was a testimony to the world of a person coming to trust Jesus. If you haven't been baptised by immersion, I would encourage you to be.
We have to teach and train them up , sharing with them all that Jesus taught, so that they follow Him closely and become effective disciples of the Lord. Can I ask do we as individuals and churches neglect our role here, we have lots of conversions, but how many true disciples do we make?
We need not be afraid when we go out into the world, because not only do we have the ultimate power of Jesus with us, we have the very presence of Jesus with us, by the means of thr Holy Spirit. He promises to be with us and never ever leave us.
My friends, let us not be afraid to witness and share the gospel, let us not doubt the gospel, let us not doubt that the Lord's hand is shortened, it still can and still will save the vilest sinner.
The Lord loves to hear the praises of His people, but he loves to hear Jesus preached. He says that when the Son of God is lifted up, he will draw all men to himself, this is what we are doing when we are sharing Jesus with someone, lifting Jesus up.
Let us take up the challenge.
Below is a link to the Pocket Lestament League. they do little gospels of John for a small donation. You wil have to register as a member. Please consider joining.
If you do, I challenge you to get as many Gospels of John, as you need and can afford for your street and neighbourhood and distribute them. Place your phone number or a contact no for your church.
Just imagine if a church of 100 believers in a city did a street with gospels of John and every street had 20 houses on it, we would reach 2000 houses and over 3000 people.
If everyone one of us did this, we could distribute many life savings gospels to many needy homes. You may say, well it will cost us and we can't afford it, well how much do we spend at mcdonald's and on going to sport's. Let's use some of that on sharing the gospel with a needy world, after all Jesus commanded us to.

Please share this with your pastor, if you are a pastor please share it with your church. Let us reach as many as we can for the gospel.

Thank you for letting me share My Heart with you my friends

God Bless you
