1. SEVEN THINGS ABOUT FALSE TEACHERS

2. FALSE DOCTRINES EXPOSED!

CHAPTER ONE

SEVEN THINGS ABOUT FALSE TEACHERS

1. THEY SECRETLY INTRODUCE DESTRUCTIVE HERESIES.
"But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be FALSE TEACHERS among you. THEY WILL SECRETLY INTRODUCE DESTRUCTIVE HERESIES" (2Pet 2:1, NIV).
I remember the story of John Sung narrated by Kurt Koch in his book "Revival in Indonesia."
John was a Chinese evangelist used greatly in the mighty revival in Indonesia in the 1930's. Many people called him the 'Wesley of China.'
He had his theological training briefly in New York, USA. Unfortunately for him, that seminary did not believe in Christ's sacrificial suffering for our sins, his resurrection, his ascension, his second coming and miracles.
Before long, he lost his precious faith and experienced a great inner crisis due to such false teachings he had received!
He admitted that they had taken away what he had previously believed and that he could not continue living in such a helpless condition for God would either give him a new beginning or he would end his own life!
Out of desperation, he set ablaze his theological books calling them demonic and dedicated himself to studying the Bible and praying. His shocked lecturers thought he was mentally sick. So they pleaded with him to see a psychiatrist, whom he eventually visited.
He was counselled to stay away from the seminary and rest for some weeks. He lamented greatly: "I've been deceived. I'm not mentally ill, though my heart might well have been damaged by the miserable theological fare I was served with at the seminary."
So he stayed in isolation for about 7 months and during this period he read the Bible through 40 times and prayed.
Commenting about this period of seclusion, he said, "That was really my theological training."
From there he went forth to execute his evangelistic ministry in China.
So he had learnt to make God's Word the first thing in his life and was instilled with the practice of reading 10 or 11 Bible chapters on his knees every day.
So false teachers introduce destructive heresies secretly or quietly.

2. THEY EVEN DENY THE SOVEREIGN LORD WHO BOUGHT THEM.
" There will be FALSE TEACHERS among you EVEN DENYING THE SOVEREIGN LORD WHO BOUGHT THEM" (2 Pet 2:1, NIV).

They deny the Lord in different ways.

i. in words
Jesus said: "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall DENY me before men, him will I also DENY before my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 10:32-33).

ii. in action
Titus 1:16 (NIV) says: "They claim to know God, BUT BY THEIR ACTIONS THEY DENY HIM"
Sad to say, some believers have already denied the Lord by what they are doing in secret or in public!

3. THEY BRING SWIFT DESTRUCTION ON THEMSELVES
"There will be FALSE TEACHERS among you BRINGING SWIFT DESTRUCTION ON THEMSELVES" (2 Pet 2:1, NIV).
It has been said that those who don't learn from history end up becoming history!
George Jeffreys was a wonderful minister of God whose global ministry ended sadly because of a false doctrine he embraced.
No doubt the gift of healings was operating in his ministry. But when he read a book that made him believe that England was one of the lost tribes of Israel, and he preached it to the churches, about half of his pastors and churches abandoned him.
Lester Sumrall wrote about him in his interesting book, Pioneers of Faith: "The glory departed from George's life because he went after a cult and left the divine truth he had been taught from childhood. He went with the interpretation of men rather staying with the teachings of the Bible."

4. THEY LEAD THEIR FOLLOWERS ASTRAY IN THEIR SHAMEFUL WAYS.
"There will be FALSE TEACHERS among you MANY WILL FOLLOW THEIR SHAMEFUL WAYS" (2 Pet 2:1-2, NIV).
The pitiful story of Prophet William Branham drives the message home here. When he derailed from the prophetic ministry into the teaching office, his problem began.
As a result, he taught some nasty things that brought confusion to the body of Christ. So the Lord told Prophet Kenneth E. Hagin in 1963 that He would remove him from the scene in 2 years' time. By December 1965, he came to a sad end.
A man that visited South Africa for just 5 days and shook it for God. The book 'A Prophet Visits South Africa' was written after that short unforgettable visit.
He moved powerfully in a remarkable combination of gifts of healings, word of knowledge, discerning of spirits and prophecy. Yes, he stood out among the prophets. He was more than a prophet.
A voice once spoke, out of heaven, to him: "As John the Baptist foreran the first coming of the Lord, your message will forerun the second coming of the Lord."
But this same man began to teach heresies, which led his followers astray in his shameful ways. Some of his strange teachings will be looked at later as we continue in this study.
You see, his followers today are referred to as the Branhamites. I met one or more of them at the university. They are dangerous pollutants to be careful with. They are better avoided!

5. THEY AND THEIR FOLLOWERS BRING THE WAY OF TRUTH INTO DISREPUTE.
"There will be FALSE TEACHERS among you Many will follow their shameful ways and WILL BRING THE WAY OF TRUTH INTO DISREPUTE" (2 Pet 2:1-2, NIV).
There was a church in my home town that was polluted by the doctrines of the Branhamites around the early 1990's. Unfortunately enough, that strange wind of teachings blew off their youths such that only few of them or just one person survived it.
After this incident, I joined this church and later became born-again. I heard the sad story. Then one of the brothers gave me an old magazine containing some of the Branhamites' heresies.
This is how William Branham, though dead, and his dangerous followers are bringing the way of truth into disrepute.
The expression: " and WILL BRING THE WAY OF TRUTH INTO DISREPUTE" in verse 2 (NIV) above is rendered "BY REASON OF WHOM THE WAY OF TRUTH SHALL BE EVIL SPOKEN OF" in the KJV.
So because of heretics, the way of truth will be evil spoken of by backsliders and unbelievers.
I remember a particular brother who was a victim of the Branhamites' teachings. He had backslid and left the church. I wonder how many people would have spoken evil of Christ and His teachings just because of his backslidden condition.
Solomon wrote: "The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways" (Proverbs 14:14).

6. IN THEIR GREED (COVETEOUSNESS) THEY EXPLOIT (MAKE MONEY OUT OF) PEOPLE WITH FEIGNED WORDS (STORIES THEY HAVE MADE UP).
"There will be FALSE TEACHERS among you IN THEIR GREED THESE TEACHERS WILL EXPLOIT YOU WITH STORIES THEY HAVE MADE UP " (2 Pet 2:1, 3, NIV).
The prophet I know who said a woman should bring a life chicken which he would use to pray for her so that she could become pregnant and have a baby exploited that woman.
But he told her she would not eat out of it. So she bought it, yet nothing came out of it! Deception in the name of deliverance.
What of those selling anointing oil, prayer water, prayer cloth, and so on in the name of healing or miracle?
These are nothing but anointed thieves or charismatic crooks.
The Bible says these greedy teachers will make money out of people through false words.

7. THEIR CONDEMNATION HAS LONG BEEN HANGING OVER THEM, AND THEIR DESTRUCTION HAS NOT BEEN SLEEPING.
"There will be FALSE TEACHERS among you THEIR CONDEMNATION HAS LONG BEEN HANGING OVER THEM, AND THEIR DESTRUCTION HAS NOT BEEN SLEEPING" (2 Pet 2:1, 3, NIV).
The issue of heresy is a serious one. In fact, in Galatians 5, it is listed among the works of the flesh (see verse 20 in KJV). And just as witchcraft, murder, fornication, idolatry, hatred, drunkenness, and so on are condemned in Galatians 5, so is heresy.
Any of them can hinder us from making heaven (see verse 21). Continuing in any of them without truly repenting can bring judgement upon us while on earth.
Paul warned that if we judge ourselves, God will not judge us (see 1 Corinthians 11:31-32).
You see, it was judgement that fell on William Branham. I don't know whether or not he repented before he died.
So how do we handle heretics? Should they be stoned or burnt to death? Should we pretend as if they don't exist? Should we challenge them to an open debate?
Paul wrote: "A man that is an HERETIC after the first and second admonition [warning] REJECT;
Knowing that he that is such is SUBVERTED, and SINNETH, being CONDEMNED of himself" (Titus 3:10-11).
The Greek word translated "subverted" in verse 11 here is "ekstrefo" and it means "to turn inside out, to change entirely (in the negative sense); to pervert."

General Warning
2 John 10-11 (NIV) admonishes us: "If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not take him into your house or welcome him. Anyone who welcomes him shares in his wicked work."

CHAPTER TWO

FALSE DOCTRINES EXPOSED!

SOME HERESIES OF THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES
1. Jesus Christ was an angel who became a man (Watchtower, 6/15/63, p307); He was just a man, however, − not God in the flesh (Reasoning from the Scriptures, 1985, p306).
TRUTH: Hebrews 1: 2-14, John 1:1-3, 14.

2. The Holy Spirit is an inanimate force or power (Watchtower, 6/1/52, p24; Reasoning from the Scriptures 1985 p406, 407).
TRUTH: The Holy Spirit is a person who can hear and speak (John 14:26; John 16:13-15), can become grieved or sorrowful (Ephesians 4:30), etc.

3. Salvation is by works (Studies in the Scriptures Vol 1 pp150, 152) through membership in the organization (Watchtower 2/15/79, p30).

TRUTH: Hell is a temporary place of torment while the lake of fire is the eternal place of torment (Matthew 25:41, Revelation 20:14-15, KJV, Luke 16:19-31). When Jesus died on the cross, he went to hell. But when he rose, he went to heaven (Acts 2:31 KJV, Ephesians 4:8-10).

6. The doctrine of the trinity is an invention of man (Let God be True, p 100, 101).
TRUTH: 1 John 5:7 KJV, Matthew 3:16-17.

NOTE: Please neither use nor recommend the New World Translation of the Bible published by the Jehovah Witnesses. Their founder , Charles Russell, cleverly removed the word "hell" out of this particular version of the Bible. It is not for Christians. He has gone to where he belongs leading thousands or millions of people to the same place!

SOME HERESIES OF THE CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST
1. No wearing of shoes to worship God.
TRUTH: Colossians 2:20-23, Ephesians 5:15-17.

2. Intending members are to be sanctified by water, sponge, soap (John 3:3-5) and a candle stick (when lit) symbolizing the Holy Spirit like tongue of fire that came on the first apostles to sanctify them on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4).
TRUTH: John 17:17, Ephesians 5:25-27.

3. Every woman must be purified after her monthly period and after child delivery (Lev 12, Lev 15:16-18; Lev 15:19-24; 29-30, Mark 5:25-34) for Jesus could not stand the weight of the filthiness that he asked who touched him when the woman with the issue of blood touched him (Mark 5:25-34). The Apostles also warned the Antioch converts to avoid blood (Acts 15:29).
TRUTH: According to Leviticus 12:6-8, under the law the blood of animals would cleanse her from her filthiness. But under grace, the blood of Jesus had already purified her over 2,000 years ago, once and for all.
We should, however, avoid drinking or eating or shedding blood.

4. Consecration of a new member into priesthood with candle (Exo 40:12-15).
TRUTH: Acts 6:6, Acts 13:2-3, Acts 14:23.

5. Through washing of feet, the eternal curse on humanity by Adam is removed before one be qualified to enter the kingdom of God (Gen 3:15, Jn 13:8).
TRUTH: Galatians 3:13, John 19:30.

6. The new moon service, which is as important as the Sunday worship is carried out such that the shepherd and the entire congregation will first raise their hand, then bow down, and later kneel down with their forehead touching the ground (Neh 8:6). There is no use of chairs or benches to sit during this service. There is heavy use of incense and perfume.
TRUTH: No precedence of a new moon service in the New Testament. So let no one compel you to conduct a new moon service (Colossians 2:16).

7. Church members are never to put on red or black underwears or dresses.
TRUTH: Colossians 2:20-23.

8. Women having their monthly period must not go near the temple or touch any holy thing for the first 7 days.
TRUTH: 1 Corinthians 6:19, Colossians 2:20-23.

9. Male and female members are forbidden to sit side by side in the temple.
TRUTH: Colossians 2:20-23.

10. Abstinence from pork, snake, snail, and scaleless fish as food (Lev 3:17, Gen 9:4-5, Deut 12:15-16, 23-25). See Leviticus 11:1-8.
TRUTH: 1 Timothy 4:1-5, Romans 14:1-23, Colossians 2:16.

11. Women must not mount the pulpit to give sermons or lead songs.
TRUTH: "Some people believe a woman should never be a pastor. Why?

They will tell you Paul commanded women to keep quiet in the church!
But can a wowan be an apostle? Can a wowan be a prophet? Can a wowan be an evangelist? Can a wowan be a teacher?

You see, Paul wrote:"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to SPEAK, but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law."
"And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to SPEAK in the church" (1 Cor 14:34-35).

The Greek word translated "speak" twice above is "LALEO" which means "to babble; to chatter; to cackle like a parrot; to prattle on."

According to Dictionary.com, "babble" means "1. to utter sounds or words imperfectly, indistinctly, or without meaning; 2. To talk idly, irrationally, excessively, or foolishly; chatter or prattle; 3. To make a continuous, murmuring sound."
In essence, Paul was saying, "Women should not talk idly, senselessly, unreasonably, excessively, or foolishly in the churches. They should not make a continuous, murmuring sound during the services."

That does not mean women could not prophesy publicly in the temple or the churches in homes (see 1 Cor 11:5, Acts 21:8-9).

So a woman can be an apostle. A woman can be a prophet. A woman can be an evangelist. A woman can be a pastor. A woman can be a teacher.

So don't tell me because there was no record of a prophetess or woman evangelist in the Early Church, God cannot raise a prophetess or woman evangelist in the Body of Christ.

Read church history and you will see the grace of God in the lives of women evangelists like Kathryn Kuhlman, Maria Woodward Etter and Aime Macpherson as well as a prophetess like Jeanne Wilkerson, and modern day prophetesses like Cindy Jacobs, Juanita Bynum, Tosin Olumide, and so on."

6. The followers believe their late founder was the Elijah to come (Malachi 4:5-6).

TRUTH: 1 John 1:9.

Note: I have listened to this preacher for a while. But I have stopped listening to him. Many things are wrong with his teachings. A pastor once gave me a message by him where he stressed eternal security.
God's candid counsel to those of you still listening to this dangerous preacher and others like him is this: "Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge" (Proverbs 19:27).
Another version says: "Stop listening to teaching that contradicts what you know is right" (TLB).
Another version says: "My son, hear no more the instruction, that causeth to err from the words of knowledge" (GNV).
Yet another one reads: "Cease, my son, to hear the teaching that induces one to deviate from the reasons of wisdom" (JUB).

TRUTH: 1 Thessalonians 5:22.

6. Use of mesmerism or magnetism to control and heal or deliver people through hand movement.

Another prophet with an international ministry shared what God showed him about T.B. Joshua on radio. And he warned that judgment was coming upon him.
Three different ministers in different places shared what God revealed to them about this occult man.
My wife who has a prophetic ministry said God told her that judgment was coming on this man.
Personally, I prayed about him. Thank God he did not keep me in the dark. So I can say some things about this false prophet.

SOME HERESIES OF THE BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR
1. Salvation is by works and cbedience to their leader, Olumba Olumba Obu.
TRUTH: Epesians 2:8-9, 2 Tim 1:9, Titus 3:5-7, Romans 3:27-28, Romans 4:1-5, Romans 5:1, Romans 10:9-10, Galatians 3:1-14.

2. Don't eat meat or fish because it is your brethren you are eating. Those animals are human beings. Don't kill them. God does not tell man to eat meat, fish, etc as food.
TRUTH: Genesis 9:2-3, 1 Timothy 4:1-5, Romans 14:1-23, Colossians 2:16.

3. Re-incarnation: A person who kills animals, may become an animal when his spirit is re-incarnated, so he also will be killed like the animals he killed.
TRUTH: Genesis 9:2-3.

4. Drink only water. Don't take soft drinks, milk or any artificially mixed drink.
TRUTH: 1 Timothy 5:23, Colossians 2:16.

5. Don't take medicine of any type when sick.
TRUTH: Isaiah 38:21, Colossians 4:14.

6. Their leader Olumba Olumba Obu is said to be the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised to send.
TRUTH: Acts 1:5, Acts 2:1-4, 14-18.

7. At the mention of the name of their leader, evil forces bow and disasters are averted.
TRUTH: Philippians 2:9-11.

8. Their leader is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. (Though this leader said paradoxically: "I am not Jesus Christ or God Jesus Christ came to die for your salvation. I have not come to die. I have come to give people wages according to their work.")
TRUTH: Matthew 24:24.

NOTE: Due to the inconsistency of the beliefs of this cult, the leader claimed he was not Jesus Christ at a tme. But at another time, he claimed he was Jesus Christ. Then at a different time, he claimed he was superior to Jesus. [What a confused man. A victim of the crisis of identity!]

9. Belief that their leader is part of the Holy Trinity.
TRUTH: 1 John 5:7, KJV.

10. Belief that disaster will come if the world does not worship their leader as God.
TRUTH: John 4:23-24.

SOME HERESIES OF THE CHRISTIAN SCIENCE
1. Belief that Jesus Christ is not God, as Jesus himself declared But that he was kin to God like every other man.
TRUTH: John 1:1.

2. Jesus was not the Christ.
TRUTH: 1 John 2:22-23.

3. The Sacrifice of Jesus was not sufficient to cleanse from sin. [So Jesus' blood cannot atone for the sins of mankind.]
TRUTH: John 19:30; 1 John 1:7; John 1:29, Colossian 1:14.

4. Jesus did not reflect the fullness of God.
TRUTH: Colossians 1:15-19, John1:18.

5. God is universal principle.
TRUTH: John 4:24.

6. God cannot indwell a person.
TRUTH: 1 John 4:4, 15, Colossians 1:27.

7. God is the only intelligence in the universe, including man.
TRUTH: John 4:24.

8. God is mind.
TRUTH: John 4:24.

9. God is the Father-Mother.
TRUTH: Jesus said: "Our Father who art in heaven." He never said, "Our Mother who art in heaven." Matthew 6: 9.

10. The Trinity is Life, Truth and Love.
TRUTH: 1 John 5:7 KJV.

11. Belief in the traditional doctrine of the Trinity is polytheism.
TRUTH: 1 John 5:7 KJV.
Interestingly, the Bible teaches that we have ONE God in THREE different persons. Thus we have:
i. God the Father
ii. The Son or The Word
iii. The Holy Spirit (in NIV) or The Holy Ghost (in KJV).

The Bible never teaches that we have:
i. God the Father
ii. God the Son
iii. God the Holy Spirit.
This is polytheism meaning we have three or many Gods. That is a great heresy. It is an error. But there is only ONE God in THREE different persons (Deuteronomy 6:4, 1 John 5:7, KJV).

12. Christ is the spiritual idea of sonship.
TRUTH: John 3:16, Hebrews 1:1-9; 1 John 2:22-23.
Jesus is not an idea or imagination, but a person. He is the Son of God.

13. Jesus did not die.
TRUTH: Matthew 27: 45-66; 1Corinthians 15:3-8.

14. The Holy Spirit is divine science.
TRUTH:

15. There is no devil.
TRUTH: Matthew 4: 1-11.
Someone noted, "The devil has so demonized mankind that mankind believes there is no devil."
In other words, he has deceived humanity to believe he does not exist!

16. There is no sin.
TRUTH: Romans 5:12.

17. Evil and good are not real.
TRUTH: Romans 9:11.

18. Matter, sin, and sickness are not real, but only illusions.
TRUTH: Romans 5:12, Matthew 4:23-24, Matthew 8:17.

19. Life is not material or organic.
TRUTH: 1 Thessalonians 5:23
Life is in three realms, namely:
i. spirit realm (contacted with our spirit)
ii. soul/mental realm (contacted with our soul)
iii. physical/natural realm (contacted with our body).
So there are: spiritual life, soulical/mental/intellectual life and physical/natural life.

20. God is infinite and there is no other power or source.
TRUTH: John 4:24. God is Spirit, not power. He is a person or individual, not a substance, thing or force.

SOME HERESIES OF SOME OTHER CHURCHES OR 'CHRISTIAN' GROUPS
1. The anointing oil is God in a bottle.
TRUTH: Deuteronomy 5:7-8, Exodus 32:1-10.

2. The anointing oil is the blood of sprinkling (the blood of Jesus).
TRUTH: 1 Peter 1:2, Hebrews 12:22-24.

3. Christians are born-again to reign, not to suffer again [even for Christ's sake].
TRUTH: Philippians 1:29, Acts 14:22, 1 Peter 4:12-19, John 16:33.

4. One church leader claimed that he had God's Spirit without measure just like Jesus in the Bible.
TRUTH: John 3:27-34.

5. A Christian can have more than one wife as Solomon, David, Jacob and Abraham had.
TRUTH: Matthew 19:3-12.

6. A man can divorce his wife, but a woman cannot divorce her husband.
TRUTH: Matthew 19:3-12.

7. Tithes should not be paid today for they belonged to the Old Testament.
TRUTH: Malachi 3: 6-12, Matthew 23:23.
Note: Tithes came before the law, progressed under the law and continues today after the law (under grace). [Hebrews 7:1-10.]

8. Your will is the will of God.
TRUTH: Psalms 106:15, 1 John 5:14-15, Matthew 26:39.

9. Homosexuals or gays (or lesbians) are not wrong, but the only issue with them is how they will give birth to children.
TRUTH: Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9, NIV.

10. Flogging church members that sin.
TRUTH: 1 Corinthians 5.

11. Charging church members that sin a fine (penalty fee).
TRUTH: 1 Corinthians 5.

12. Forbidding people to marry.
TRUTH: 1 Timothy 4:1-3.

13. Telling married couples to abstain from sex for no Biblical reason.
TRUTH: 1 Corinthians 7:1-5.

14. Buying chicken, goat, fish, snail, coffin or giving money equivalent of it to do sacrifice.
TRUTH: 1 Corinthians 5:7, Ephesians 5:2. Matthew 9:13, Matthew 12:7, 1 Peter 2:5, Romans 12:2 NIV, Hebrews 13:15-16.

15. Anything your neighbour, friend, landlord, etc has which you like can become yours if you can claim it by faith.
TRUTH: Deuteronomy 5:21; 1 Kings 21:1-29.

16. According to 1 Corinthians 7:36, a man can have sex with his fiance (or girlfriend) whom he has decided to marry if he cannot control his sex drive.
TRUTH: 'Some people have misinterpreted 1 Corinthians 7:36 as a licence for pre-marital sex.
It reads, "But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need to require, let him do what he will, HE SINNETH NOT: LET THEM MARRY."
It is better understood by reading it in the Living Bible: "But if anyone feels he ought to marry because he has trouble controlling his passions, it is all right, IT IS NOT A SIN; LET HIM MARRY."
The New Living Translation also makes it clear: "But if a man thinks that he's treating his fiance improperly and will inevitably give in to his passion, LET HIM MARRY HER AS HE WISHES. IT IS NOT A SIN."
God was only encouraging a man who can't control his sex drive to marry, not to have pre-marital sex.'

17. Sanctification is a second definite work of grace, which is a precondition for Holy Spirit baptism.
TRUTH: 'A part of the church world has wrongly propagated sanctification as the second definite work of grace: saying it is the next experience to the new birth.
Then after it, one can be qualified to receive the Holy Spirit. That's totally unscriptural.
At the new birth, our human spirits are sanctified spontaneously (1Cor 6:11, Heb 10:29) and as we fellowship with God and His people daily, our spirits, souls and bodies are sanctified progressively (1 Thess 5:23).
You see, after the new birth comes the baptism with the Holy Spirit and fire.
You can get born-again in a minute and get baptized or filled with Holy Spirit in the same or next minute (Acts 10:44, 43-47, Acts 11:13-16).
Charles G Finney got born-again in the morning and was filled with the Spirit in the evening of the same day!
Paul neither asked the Ephesians, "Have you experienced sanctification as a second definite work of grace since you believed?"
Nor "Have you received the Holy Spirit since you experienced sanctification as a second definite work of grace?"
But he rather asked, "Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed?" (See Acts 19:1-2).'
[An excerpt from my book titled: How to Receive the Holy Spirit.]

18. Speaking in tongues is a special gift a few selected believers.
TRUTH: Mark 16:17.
Note: 1 Corinthians 12:30 is talking about the gift of the Spirit called divers kinds of tongues for some believers as the Spirit wishes, not the sign of unknown tongues to follow all believers (see 1 Corinthians 12:10, 28).

19. Worship of angels
TRUTH: Colossians 2:18-19.

20. Believers don't need deliverance.
TRUTH: Are there believers who need healing from sickness or disease? Yes! Are there believers who need deliverance from Satan's oppression? Yes!
Healing is the children's bread. It is for baby believers. Also deliverance is the children's bread. It is for baby believers (Mark 7:24-30).
But health is adult's meat. Dominion is adult's meat, too. God wants his people to move the level of healing to health, and from deliverance to dominion (Luke 10:19, 1 Peter 2:24).

21. We already have eternal life now, so we don't need to receive any eternal life again
TRUTH: We receive eternal life into our spirit at the new birth (John 3:16, 1 John 5:13 ), but we will receive it into our body at the rapture (Mark 10:30, 1 Timothy 6:19 KJV, Jude 21).
Note: Compare the redemption of our spirit (received at the new birth) and of our body (to be realized at the rapture), though, Jesus made our full redemption available through his blood over 2,000 years ago (Romans 8:23-25, Ephesians 1:7).

22. The rapture will be a secret event, not a public one.
TRUTH: 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

23. Carrying about a mantle (handkerchief) for protection or favour
TRUTH: Psalms 91:1-16.

24. Confessed and forgiven sins don't have any consequences or punishment.
TRUTH: 1 Thessalonians 4:6-7 NIV; Galatians 6:7, 2 Corinthians 2:5-11.

25. Outward adornment and attire do not determine whether a believer will go to heaven or hell.
TRUTH: 'Paul warned, "I also wants women to dress MODESTLY, WITH DECENCY and PROPRIETY, NOT WITH BRAIDED HAIR OR GOLD OR PEARLS OR EXPENSIVE CLOTHES" (1 Tim 2:9, NIV).

Peter also admonished, "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as BRAIDED HAIR and the WEARING OF GOLD JEWELRY and FINE CLOTHES " (1 Pet 3:3, NIV).

The servant of God, Margaret Amure was condemned to hell because of hatred towards her husband, her wearing trousers, using jewellery and weave-on (or attachment) and make-up.

She was told that part of the reasons why women are very few in heaven was due to their mode of dress and adornment.

Other people have confirmed some of these things. You can google Mrs Carillo from Bolivia, Linda from Sierra Lone, Samuel Tega from Nigeria, and so on.

For example, KJV renders "braided" in 1 Timothy 2:9 above as "broided." And that is from the Greek word "plegma" which according to Thayer's Greek Lexicon means "what is woven, plaited, or twisted together; a web, plait, braid."

So this verse is saying women and girls should not have their hair woven, plaited, or twisted together. Nor should they wear gold (jewellery), pearls (suggestive of precious stones, beads and so on) and expensive clothes.

God wants us to avoid artificial beauty. He wants us to be natural in our looks and to maintain that naturalness. He wants us to be natural and decent.

.There is no need for you to dress like a prostitute. Proverbs 7:10 talks about the dress of a prostitute.

God warned in Hosea 2:3 (NLT), "Tell her to remove the prostitute's make-up from her face and the clothing that exposes her breast."

It has been said that the only woman that painted her face in the Bible is Jezebel. The spirit of Jezebel has taken over some churches through the carelessness of the pastor and his dear wife (2 Kings 9:30, Deut 22:5).'
[An excerpt from my book titled: The Ministry of a Pastor.]

26. Water baptism is a precondition for new birth.
TRUTH: 1 Peter 3:21, Acts 19:1-6, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:37-38, Acts 8:12, 35-38; Acts 10: 43-48.

SINNER'S CONFESSION
If you are not yet born-again, say this:
I choose to repent today. Also I choose to believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose up for my justification.
The Scripture says, "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Rom 10:9).
Therefore, I believe in Jesus in my heart and confess Him as my Lord. Now I am born-again (Amen).

SAY THIS ALOUD TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT
Also Jesus said, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you and you will be my witnesses" (Acts 1:8).
And on the day of Pentecost "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance" (Acts 2:4).
Therefore, I receive the Holy Spirit by faith right now and I begin to speak in an unknown tongue (unlearned tongue) as He gives me the utterance.
I command every foul spirit [spirit of fear, spirit of unbelief, spirit of doubt, religious spirit, unforgiving spirit] wanting to hinder me to stop in its evil operation in my life in Jesus' name.
Thank you God for filling me with your Spirit in Jesus' name (Amen).
