Why So Much Suffering?

When God created Adam and Eve and placed them in the Garden to tend it and enjoy what He had created for them, everything was good. There was no sin, no sickness and no suffering until Adam and Eve made a bad choice to sin against God by allowing the serpent to deceive them and lead them astray. Once this happened, everything changed.

So here we are today living in a sin sick world where the god of this world (satan) is running rampant because he knows his time is short.

When I look at Jesus, I see how He suffered when He was on this earth. He suffered greatly at the hand of His persecutors. He suffered rejection and all kinds of hurt, yet He never sinned. But the worse suffering of all was when He hung on the Cross of Calvary. He bore the sins of the whole world as He hung on that Cross. He bore all of our sicknesses and diseases as He hung on that Cross! Can you imagine the pain and suffering of that! I cannot begin to wrap my finite mind around any of the intensity of suffering that Jesus had to go through so that we could be redeemed and receive salvation by faith. This is so huge for all of us to understand.

Paul the apostle suffered greatly during his lifetime. He was beaten with rods, shipwrecked several times, fasted often because he had no food to eat, persecuted by his enemies, etc. It was not a tip toe through the tulips life for Paul, but he was grounded in his faith in God. He stood strong in every situation that he found himself in. He was imprisoned on several occasions and wrote several Epistle in those prison cells! How huge is that? He didn't have a pitty party when he was going through hard times. Instead, he leaned into Jesus. He trusted God in and through every situation. At the end of His life, he was beheaded! Does that sound familiar to you? Are you willing to be beheaded for your faith? It might come to that for some of us. We are living in an evil day and we must prepare ourselves for what is coming. Will it be worth all of the suffering in the end? Oh yes! We will see Jesus face to face and live eternally with Him.

In the meantime, while we are still alive here on this earth, we must also trust the Lord just like Paul did. We must believe God's word and apply it to our lives. If we are sick, we need to understand that Jesus is our healer. We can be healed. By His stripes we are healed. Read Isaiah 53 and realize what Jesus actually did when He died for you. He bore your sicknesses and diseases. You can be healed.

Healings and miracles are happening all over the world today because we serve a healing, miracle working God. Our God is not dead, but He is alive and well in every person who has been born again. The healer is in the house! If we will believe and receive what His word says about healing, we will be healed. That's good news!!!!

I hear many Christians today saying that Jesus gave them cancer or sickness to teach them something. How stupid is that? Jesus is our HEALER, not our sickness giver! If Jesus gave you cancer to teach you something then why are you going to the doctor to get rid of it? If it's God's will for you to suffer with cancer, then you should not be going against His will by trying to get rid of it. Do you see how foolish this is? Jesus didn't put that cancer on you! Jesus didn't give you diabetes! Jesus doesn't make His children sick, He is our healer! It's the devil that has come to steal, KILL, and destroy. Jesus came that you might have LIFE and Health.

Acts 10:38 says, "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing GOOD and HEALING ALL who were oppressed BY THE DEVIL, for God was with Him."

Doing GOOD. Healing ALL. That's what Jesus does.

Oh dear saint of God, you are so precious to the Lord. He loves you so much that you will not be able to comprehend the fullness of His love for you while you are here on this earth....your finite mind is just not able to comprehend the FULLNESS right now, but one day you will.

Yes we all go through different types of persecution, rejection, trials and tribulations on this earth because we live in a sin sick world as a result of the fall of man. But Jesus came to save us from our sin, sickness and diseases while we are still living here on this earth. We can experience His saving power right now. We can experience His delivering power right now. We can experience His healing power right now. Yes, we will experience the FULLNESS when we leave this ole earth realm, but we can experience some much needed deliverance and healing right now. Study the Bible. Find out what the Bible says about healing and miracles. These supernatural phenomena did not pass away when the last apostle died! Jesus is still in the healing business!!!!! Stop believing the lies of the enemy and start believing the truth of what God says in His Holy Word.

Even though we are going through some hellish stuff here on this earth, we must understand that we are going THROUGH! Hallelujah!!!! This world is not our home! And one day, after this life is over, we will enter into our eternal home. That's why it's so important that we give our lives to Jesus and trust Him for salvation. When we do this, we don't have to fear death because we know where our eternal destination is located. :-). At that point in time, our bodies will be left in the grave on this earth, but our spirit and soul will live forever with the Lord. We are spirit beings. These old bodies are just a shell to house our spirit and soul while we are here on this earth. But when that old shell falls off, off we go. :-). Oh what a glorious day that will be.

If you are going through some hardships today, please keep your eyes fixed upon Jesus. I personally know what it's like to go through hard times. I've been there done that and none of it is joyous, but when Jesus is living on the inside of us, we can tap into His strength and grace.

We can also receive healing from the Lord if we are sick in our bodies. Cripples can be healed. Bones can be recreated. The impossible is made possible with God! Miracles still happen today. Just believe and receive from the Lord today. He is not a respecter of persons. He loves you! God is for you, not against you.

Let me pray for you right now.

Father God, I pray for my friends who are reading this article right now. I ask You to save those who want to receive salvation by faith. I pray that they will give their lives to you right now and repent of all their sin. I ask You to heal those who need to be healed. I pray for miracles to happen right now. I pray that those suffering from cancer will receive their healing right now. I command cancer to loose it's hold on their physical bodies right now and I loose the healing power of Jesus into their physical bodies right now. Jesus is your healer. I pray for tumors to shrivel up, die and totally disappear. I pray for fibromyalgia to be completely driven out of bodies and bones right now.....be healed in Jesus name. I pray that people with eye disease will be healed right now in Jesus name. I speak to the deaf, HEAR in Jesus name. I bind the powers of hell that are operating against these people right now and I loose the miracle working power of God to drive out every sickness and every disease in Jesus name. Receive the miracle working power of God into your heart and life right now. Those who suffer from anxiety attacks and depression, I take authority over this evil work of the enemy and I loose the miracle working power of Jesus to deliver you from anxiety attacks and depression. I pray for a complete deliverance for you in Jesus name. May all bondages and addictions be broken off of you in Jesus name. May you be completely delivered from alcoholism and drug addiction in Jesus name. Be free in Jesus name. Be healed in Jesus name. Amen.

What a mighty God we serve! He is the God of the impossible!!!!!! Believe it!!!!! Take what belongs to you. Receive all that God has for you. You are so precious to Him. :-)
