LITTLE BIT and CLOUD

by Lewis E. Thomas
11/27/2014 / Poetry

Little Bit and Cloud were very fast on their feet.
They loved to get a treat of something tasting sweet.

They loved to run together with their heads held high!
The power in their legs came from their Creator beyond the sky!

Little Bit became eyes for Cloud as Cloud got old and blind.
Cloud would follow the sound of Little Bit for his food to find.

Little Bit and Cloud were two Horses truly loved!
Now they run for their Creator in Pastures up above!

Jesus loves horses with their speed and might.
One day He will return on a Stallion oh so white!

I believe Little Bit and Cloud are watching Jesus saddling up!
To come back to fix this earth that is so corrupt.

I believe old horses never die, that their spirit gallops away!
To return in their Creator's Army just before Judgment Day!

This poem written for Pat Coggins in loving memory of
LITTLE BIT and CLOUD.

My cousin Pat Coggins called me one evening and was telling me how she recently had to get her Vet to put down her two old horses, Little Bit and Cloud. Cloud was 30 years old and blind. She said she cried hard when the Vet drove up that sad day. As soon as we ended her call God gave me this poem for Pat.

" I believe all horses go to Heaven to become mounts for God's Army of Saints! "

Revelation: 19. 11. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. - Bible Offline.

Job 39:19-24King James Version (KJV)

19 Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?

20 Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.

21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.

22 He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.

23 The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.

24 He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.
