My fault, the distance that so hurt
Our family, our home.
My pride that prompted me subvert
My vow; left her alone.
I wish so much that I had done
That thing a different way.
We might still yet be two-in-one;
Each day a happy day.
Cannot relive the painful past.
I sorely wish I could
Bring happiness back home at last.
Dear God! You know I would.
