GOD-TRACKING IS CONSTANTLY RELYING ON HIS CONSISTENT LOVE
Science tells us that a universal constant could either be a physical constant, which is a physical quantity that is generally believed to be both common in nature and constant in time, or it could be a mathematical constant, which is a fixed numerical value. For instance a physical constant sometimes used in some equations could be the speed of light while a mathematical constant could be pi. We use these constants in physics and maths to set a standard to balance our equations so that the variables can be accurately adjusted. However, in scientific equations the variables are quantities that constantly change. I would say that these variables sound a bit like the ups and downs of life in general, don't you think?
The ancient writings of the Bible tell us that God is the Creator of the entire universe including mankind. It's not my intention to debate creation and evolution but suffice to say that we all agree that the universe initiated at one finite point in time. Since then the whole universe has been in constant change (probably as a result of the fall of mankind). The question that remains is what existed before that initial point? Well, we believe that God has always existed he is infinitely eternal and encompasses the timeline of all existence. The Bible says that God is and was and is to come. That is, he is constantly present. It also says that Jesus (who is God) is the same yesterday, today and forever. In other words, the Lord God Almighty is the only reliable universal constant in all of the natural and supernatural domains. And this God is faithful; his love endures forever!
Do you feel that there are too many variables in your life for you to have any form of hope for the future? Do you feel so frustrated with the many ups and downs you're going through that you don't know whether you're coming or going? Are you longing for stability and consistency in your career, your relationships and your peace of mind? Well then, here's the good news: the Lord your God is your one true constant in life. If he is faithful then he is dependable, trustworthy and consistent. His love never changes, it endures forever. His love for you endures your hardships, your difficulties your disappointments and your losses. His love for you bears your frustrations, your failings and your weaknesses. All else in your life may shift like the sands of a desert but his love for you will remain forever. Nothing will ever separate you from God's love! Your God and holy Friend is the one and only true universal constant of the universe.

I believe that you will help me through my upheavals and balance the variables in my life.
"Dear heavenly God and Father, I want to truly thank you for your consistent love. I know now that your faithful love endures all my hardships and my failings. I am sorry, O Lord, for taking my eyes off of your constant presence in my life. Today I put my confidence in your consistency and declare that you are the one and only true constant in my life. Help me to face my ups and downs in the knowledge that your love and your faithfulness never change. I believe that you will help me through my upheavals and balance the variables in my life. Thank you, Lord. Amen."
