Scripture Passage: Genesis 14:8-16
Training Must Precede Empowerment.
Abraham had a lot of servants in his home but he armed only his trained servants when he went out to battle. He used a trained team and he won the battle. If you desire victory as a leader, then you must train your followers and training must always precede empowerment. Never promote or give power to anyone that you have not trained, for the promotion of fools is always their destruction. If you empower people without first training them, you have released them to self-destruction.
However, charity begins at home so you must seek to train and add value to yourself before you set out to train another.
Prayer: Father, help me to see the importance of training in the pursuit of vision.
