An Invitation from the Lord

Isaiah 1:18 (NKJV)
"Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your
sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are
red like crimson, They shall be as wool."

When somebody says to you that you need salvation? What comes to your mind? You may ask, "What are we being saved from?" Because salvation means
being saved or protected from harm or being saved or delivered from some dire situation, to be rescued, or to be freed from something. Salvation is the saving of the soul from sin and its consequences.

All human beings born into this world have the same sinful nature, and
we all inherited that sinful nature from Adam and Eve. (Romans 5:19).
This verse tells us that Adam's sin was passed on to us. "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive" (I Corinthians 15:22). This verse tells us that our spiritual death, our fallen state of sinfulness, is the results of Adam's sin. We became sinners through Adam. Sin makes a person a slave, and condemned to die. And the natural effects of sin cause moral depravity, perverse living, depression and distress. The Lord God then rebukes the sinner, as a loving Father His child.

You have an open invitation from the Lord, but it is only valid as long as you are alive. Once we die, we either face eternal damnation or eternal life with Christ. Choose now who's going to be your master the prince of this world or the King to come. For once you die; it's too late!
You don't know how much time you have left. None of us do! Your background will not matter, nor the current state of your life. When it is your time, the Lord will take you where you stand. There is nothing you have done that God will not forgive and the Bible says "we are saved by grace through faith; and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). An important part of becoming a Christian is turning away from sin and turning to God

When you become a Christian you will be saved from the penalty of sin. When you put your faith in Jesus and decide to follow him, God comes and lives inside you through his Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit comes and regenerates your spirit. (This is called being "born again). You receive the Holy Spirit and become "born again" simply through faith by entrusting your life to Jesus. This is the first step of the process of salvation. Then comes sanctification.
You must start at the beginning as an "infant." First you learn to crawl, then walk, and ultimately you will run. This progression is like starting your life over. But this time you will have support, love, guidance, and purpose in life with the strength of Jesus to assist you in your Christian growth.
We are restored to a relationship with God, God become our Father, and we become children of God, fit to inherit the Kingdom of God. We still have our old memories and habits and things we have been taught; so we need to repent - turn away from these things, and learn to do things God's way.
We are accepted by God on the basis of faith, because we have been born of God and taken out of a position of estrangement and brought into a relationship with God. Now it remains for those who are born of God to learn to choose the good and reject the evil.
Thessalonians 2:13 (NKJV)
"But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren
beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for
salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth"

Would you like to get saved and be born again? You can do that by
accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Just pray and
ask Jesus to come into your heart. Let heaven be your destiny.
