I'd Be A Fool!

God is all knowing. He knows every possible outcome of every situation involving your life. God knows what's best for you all the time. He knows what you need and when you need it. God knows how much you need and how much you can handle. He has set aside every kind of blessing that you could ever need or use and then God pours more on to that list. God is the God of excess, He is the God of abundance, the God of extravagance, the God of too much and He is the God of overflow. God not only gives you ALL that you could ever need but also gives you too much so you have to give the excess away. Because God knows that not only are you blessed by all that He gives you but that it also blesses you to give it away!

Knowing that, I'd be a fool if I were to only pick and choose those things that I wanted. Because God knows what's best for me, I'd be a fool if I didn't trust God for all HE has for me. If I just seeked Him for what I wanted then I would miss out on all that I needed! I'd be a fool if I didn't receive ALL that He has for me.

I should know since I've played that fool before. Bringing my God Jehovah jireh a list of things that I wanted but thought I needed. I had no idea that I was tying His hands and limiting what God wanted to give me. I'd be a fool for not allowing my God to bless me as He wants to. I have been learning that I don't want to miss out on ANYTHING that God has for me and to be receptive to ALL things He has set aside for me. It is not a matter of being greedy but a matter of using wisdom.

God wants to bless you. He wants to bless your socks off. God spends His time, among other things, planning different ways that He can bless you. 2 Corinthians 9:8 "And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."

Malachi 3:10-11 10 "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe," says the LORD Almighty." Have you ever seen floodgates open? I have at Hoover dam. It was years ago and the lake had too much water in it with more coming. So they had to open the floodgates on the backside of the dam and release the excess. It was an amazing sight. The powerful flow of excess filling up the river all flowing down stream to you. That is what God has in store for you, excess!!

I'm not talking about just a little but so much that you will not have room enough for it all. You become a spiller everywhere you go! Blessings that not only include money/seed but blessings of Spiritual giftings, of divine health, of restoration, of provisions, of position, of authority and power, of wisdom, of knowledge and understanding, of influence to impact your surroundings for His kingdom.

But you can't just wait around for it. You have to be obedient, willing and available to His voice and His Word. To be totally obedient and trust God for whatever He has for you. Seek God daily in your prayer time and as you read His Word. Matthew 6:33 "But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides." I'd be a fool if I didn't give God EVERY opportunity to bless me!
