HOLY HOLY HOLY

God cannot look upon evil or anything unclean.
He utterly hates everything wicked and obscene!

Our very thoughts are unclean on this carnal path we trod.
Our simple minds cannot grasp the "AWESOME HOLINESS OF GOD"!

His presence is "unapproachable" by any common mortal man!
But do not fret because our Great Creator devised a plan!

He had to devise a way to make us spotless and clean!
His plan to make us "Holy" required something very mean!

Only one thing could wash away and atone for the evil we have done.
That would be the death of God's Only Son!

Jesus stepped down from His Throne in Heaven to rescue you and I.
He was crucified "for us" on a Cross where He bled and died.

He paid the penalty for "our" sin by taking "our place" on the Cross.
He became the Lamb of God,
"Oh How Great Was the Cost!

Now, when you believe on Jesus Christ you are washed with His blood divine!
When God looks at you "now" He sees you wearing a Robe of Righteousness pure and fine!

Holy! Holy! Holy! is our Great God above!
Let us follow His Holy Son Jesus into everlasting love!
