Sanitized Sin

It is what you are exposed to daily. It is part of the brainwashing that the world tries to put you through every chance they get. It is everywhere you go. It is woven into all the media outlets and all of the entertainment fields. Commercials, music, movies, TV shows, books, news, radio shows, the web and anything else that they can throw at you. Sanitized sin is the best way that I can describe it. The art of taking the wicked, sinful and vile things of this world by changing its name and the way it is described to make it more palatable. The more people who accept it as normal the quicker it will spread!

Like that old saying goes"You can dress up a pig but it is still a pig"! Sin is still sin no matter what you call it. Abortion is the murdering of innocent babies. That is the harsh truth. But the world doesn't want to use that phrasing. So they call it a "procedure" where they remove the "fetus" from the uterine wall. That is how they sanitize the sin of murdering babies. They make it sound like a simple medical procedure like "removing a growth from the body" instead of removing by murdering a living and growing baby from the mother's womb.

Leviticus 18:21 "Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD." Molek was the ancient pagan god of child sacrifice. It is believed that the idols of Molek were giant metal statues of a man with a bull's head. Each image had a hole in the belly area and possibly outstretched forearms that made a kind of ramp to the hole. A fire was lit in or around the statue. Babies and children were placed in the statue's arms or in the hole and burned alive. When a couple sacrificed their firstborn, they believed that Molek would grant them financial prosperity for the family and future children. Psalm 106:37-38 38 "They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to false gods. 38 They shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was desecrated by their blood." The shedding of innocent blood is a detestable sin to God.

With the release of the undercover videos showing the admission of Planned Parenthood employees and supervisors discussing the prices and procedures for dismembering the unborn babies to sell their organs, our generation has now sunk to an all time low! Never before in the history of mankind has the murdering of babies ever included dismembering them for their organs! It is taking one of the most vile and sinful things that man has done and kicking up to the highest level of wickedness possible!

What's even sadder is they boast about being able to carefully extract the unborn baby without damaging the organs needed. In some cases, if the "buyer" wants a whole undamaged murdered baby they will use a late term abortion or "partial birth" abortion to allow the almost complete born baby to be killed after being born to satisfy the "order". All of which is not only against the law but is totally detestable and a sinful act of shedding innocent blood!

Planned Parenthood claims that the baby organs and body parts are sold for research. But on the videos clearly claim that they are generating profit from the illegal sales while haggling over prices. Planned Parenthood has, at their disposal, a "clergy panel". Anytime that they need to get a religious "sanitized" perspective on a topic they call upon their "clergy panel". In this case they wanted the panel's response to the released videos. To which the panel stated that "Planned Parenthood is doing the Lord's work"! Again, yet another way to "sanitize the sin" of abortion.

"Political correctness" is the area where the practice of "sanitizing sin" is the most widely used. Diversity and tolerance are other examples of political correctness run amuck. For anyone who opposes or tries to use truth and fact to disprove political correctness claims, they are vilified and called names to silence them. Isaiah 5:20 "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."

The LGBT homosexual communities want marriage legalized to legitimize their sinful lifestyle as normal. They also want everyone to believe that their "condition" is due to being born that way not by any other means. Their logic is so that they can obtain minority class status. Which would open the door to government programs, subsidies and legal action against anyone who opposes their sinful lifestyle. One big problem with their case is that it has not been scientifically proven that they are born that way. On the contrary, study after study has shown that the majority of homosexuals were sexually abused as children.

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah not because of their lewd and homosexual acts in public. But because the citizens of that city accepted that behavior as normal! Anytime you "allow" one type of sinful lifestyle to be recognized as normal, you "open the door" to all the other disgusting sinful lifestyles out there.

Even we Christians use different words to "soften" the Biblical reality of what sin is. "I slipped up the other day and fell off the wagon." "It was just a little white lie." "I misspoke about that incident." "I sometimes get a little upset about the way other people drive." "I did a stupid thing the other day." "What's the big deal about someone 'shacking up' with someone else?" What is sad is just watch the politicians who get in some hot water. They will use all kinds of "sanitized sin" words as they try to dance their way out of trouble. Its time to quit accepting "sanitized sin". Stop using their terminology/words when talking about sin. If you keep addressing it with "sanitized sin" words then you will end up excusing it for being there. For to correct the problem of sin you have to be willing to treat it as sin and rid it from your life! God will help if you will give Him a chance. It starts with prayer!
