We Will Get Tired

by Linda Wattley
10/02/2015 / Christian Living

Sometimes I think we have to be reminded of who and what we are. We are children of God. It does not get any better than that. We are here to allow our true selves to be known in a world starving for love. Letting go and letting God allows for us to be a brilliant light.

True we have weathered many storms and often times we get tired. When I say we get tired, I am talking about that kind of tired that has not anything to do with being physically tired. I'm talking about all the unseen aspects of ourselves in the inside our heart, soul, mind, emotions and hope. We get tired and weary while here in a world turning on itself. This does not make us weak or ashamed. One thing about reach this state of being is when we come out of it, we are far better before we reached it. How did we reach it in the first place? We reached it as children of God surrendering, lifting, dropping, running, walking, deciding, praying, hoping, blessing and dreaming of new strength.

But when it is all said and done, we are basking in God's love and care for us. We can be found on the dock of the bay sometimes but never in hell. We love God in our weariness knowing one day this moment will be a dream---a memory of staying the course of obedience. Praise God things do change for better!

Getting back on our feet to begin again is an amazing experience because we know what could have been but wasn't. We know no matter what is going on, God loves us more than we will ever love ourselves and that love is going to keep us amazing. Sometimes we have cloudy days but the clouds are not great enough to keep us hidden from what we know that is we are purchased with an eternal price guaranteeing our success to be a great presence in this world. God needs us here that is why we are here and we will manifest victory!
