Prayers of Declaration

by Steve Countryman

Declaring God's Word is one of the most powerful things that you can ever do! Just as God spoke worlds into existence and we are the children of the Most High God and since we are made in His image then what we declare carries the same power and authority of all of heaven!

To make your words the most powerful that they can possibly be you must incorporate God's Word into your prayers of declaration! Here are some examples

Matthew 7:7-8 7 "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."

"Ask and it will be given to you." It doesn't say ask and it may be considered, or that someday some of it will be given to you. There is no hesitation in Jesus' statement, no gray area. He declared that for everyone who asks receives! Not some but EVERYONE! "You have not because you ask not."

"Seek and you will find." Seek and search for yourself the riches of heaven. Seek God's face and righteousness and ALL these things will be given to you! You have to seek and if you do you will FIND!

"Knock and the door will be opened to you." Doors of blessings, doors of opportunity, doors of prosperity, doors of spiritual blessings of all types! Again there is no gray area in what Jesus declared"the door will be opened." Not maybe opened or someday it could finally be opened partially but fully opened

So how do you pray a declaration? "I ask and you awesome God give it to me. I seek your face, your kingdom, your righteousness and your will for my life. I knock and you heavenly Father open all the doors of blessings and opportunity in my life."

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This scripture states a willingness to "do all things through Christ" with "I CAN" but doesn't go far enough. The next step of faith is to take it and change it to "I WILL do all things through Christ". Now a decision has been made and a commitment is stated. But the key point is still missing. Take the scripture here in Philippians 4:13 along with your faith and "speak those things that are not as if they were". "I DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!"

You are a child of the Most High God and YOU carry the responsibility of heaven as a Kingdom Representative. That means that you carry the power and authority of Heaven as God's child everywhere you go and everywhere you ARE!

Now pray these scriptures as prayers of declaration and watch it bring power to your words and strengthen your faith in your awesome God!
