Wiped clean,
New page,
Canvas of words,
Scrawl across,
Like spiders,
Web of deceit.
Wiped clean,
New life,
Beginnings of what?
Murmurings,
Hauntings of new and old.
Wiped clean,
The slate,
Roof-tops,
Birds nesting for safety,
Below is dense,
Barbed wire surrounds.
Wiped clean,
Surfaces steeped in decay,
Invisible enemies,
Unseen,
The image of perfection,
Tarnished.
Wiped clean,
Our sins of scarlet,
Droplets upon the snow,
White as wool,
Our Jesus shines,
Truth,
Buckled around His waist.
Wiped clean,
Forever,
The old old story,
New Jerusalem awaits,
Where dust and moth cannot destroy.
