Unlimited Potential

by Steve Countryman
4/28/2016 / Christian Living

There is a reason why Father God smiles every time He looks at you, His child. He sees His Son Jesus who dwells in you! God sees the hidden unlimited potential that lives in you daily. It is the untapped secrets of the universe, the unlimited possibilities, the possible from the impossible. 1 John 4:17 "because as (Jesus) is, so are we in this world."

There are foundational truths found throughout the Bible. We need to be reminded of them often. One is that when we pray we should ALWAYS declare God's Word out loud. It carries unlimited powerful potential! Proverbs 18:21 "The tongue has the power of life and death." Romans 8:37 "in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Deuteronomy 28:13 "And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God."

Knowing who you are is the key to unlocking the unlimited potential in you. You are the property of Jehovah God bought and paid for with the blood of Jesus. A bond slave of Christ, adopted into the royal family as a child of God. You are made co-heirs to the throne as a son or daughter of the King! Everywhere you go, everyday, on every occasion and every time you are a representative of the kingdom of heaven, an ambassador of God. That means that you carry with you at ALL times the FULL authority and power of heaven!

Luke 10L18-19 "18He said to them, "I watched Satan fall from heaven like [a flash of] lightning. 19Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you." "Given you authority" past tense, it is ALREADY done!

Knowing who you are in Christ and who Christ is in you is where the unlimited potential is found! It is an ongoing process that the Holy Spirit continually works on in you, changing you from glory to glory. What you must continue to do is spend time with your heavenly Father in daily prayer and in His Word. That is how you will know who you are, a child of the Most High God!

No matter what mistakes, mishaps or misfortunes that you suffer God will NEVER turn His back on you. His faithfulness is from everlasting to everlasting! God extends His awesome faithfulness and grace to all of His children. God ALWAYS has faith in you for He ALWAYS sees the unlimited potential in you!

Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Now declare it again this wayI WILL do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Which leads you to I DO ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. That's the unlimited potential in YOU!
