The Stirring

Haggai 2-6 2This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come to rebuild the LORD's house.'" 3 Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai: 4 "Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?"

5Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."

Haggai 1:13-14 13Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: "I am with you," declares the LORD. 14 So the LORD STIRRED up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the WHOLE remnant of the people.

It is time to rebuild the House of the Lord, His church! The Lord is STIRRING UP His people to unite and rebuild His house. It has been too long since the church has had any Godly influence in America. It is time for the SILENT MAJORITY to wake up, get stirred up and be silent NO MORE!

The church is all of us God's children, Christians. The church of America has become a social club instead of God's house of prayer. The church needs a good stirring up. Think about what happens when you stir something. When something has been sitting a long time the liquid ingredients start to separate and settle. It no longer resembles what it used to be. Isn't that what the church has done over the years, settled?

The church has SETTLED for political correctness instead of speaking up for what is Godly and righteous. It has settled for worldly thinking and man's wisdom instead of God's Word. The church has compromised away God's righteousness by accepting the sin with the sinner and calling evil good. It has removed reading aloud and studying the Bible in church so as not to offend anyone. The church has condoned in silence ALL the wickedness the world has thrown at it.

This "settling" has caused the righteousness of God's Word to become stagnant and dormant in the church while Christians become useless! The STIRRING will cause the church to embrace God's Word and righteousness again.

Haggai 2:6-9 6"This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. 7 I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty. 8 'The silver is mine and the gold is mine,' declares the LORD Almighty. 9 'The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty. 'And in this place I will grant peace,' declares the LORD Almighty."

There is a mighty move of God's Holy Spirit coming that the world has never seen and it will start in His house, His church! A mighty stirring is about to hit God's church in a powerful way! It is time for all of us to stop the pettiness, the back-biting and the rumor mills so God can have His way in our churches! It is time to stop PLAYING church and BE the church!

It is time for the church to speak up and not be afraid to do so. It is time for the church to wake up and refuse to be pushed around any longer. It is time for the righteous to take a stand and say that we have the right to read the Bible and say the name of Jesus aloud in any public place we want. It is time for Christians to realize that over 70% of the population claims to be Christian then we ARE A CHRISTIAN NATION!

It is time that we Christians stop ALLOWING foreign gods and their laws and ways to be dictated and mandated OVER God and His Word. It is time for us Christians to demand that our elected officials respect our beliefs and our God or be VOTED OUT! It is time for the church to take back God's America! It is time for God's church to bear GOOD fruit!

It is time for all of us to get on our knees and pray for a mighty stirring to hit our pastors, preachers, teachers, elders, congregations and churches. This pertains to all who call themselves Christian. If you go to church or not we need EVERYONE to pray for the churches and Christians of America. Pray for courage in the pulpits of America.

Please pray this prayer and declare it out loud Dear Heavenly Father, Forgive us our apathy and silence as the wicked have exploited us and your country. Forgive us for our unwillingness to speak up and take a stand against those who seek to destroy all mention of you and replace you with foreign gods. Forgive us for our lack of Christian love towards one another and to fellow churches. Forgive us Lord our complacency and poor attitudes at the sinfulness around us and those set before our eyes.

Father we ask for your forgiveness at our complaining and murmuring over what the government is and isn't doing while we do nothing about it! Forgive our fence-riding and indecision regarding serving you. O Lord we ask that your Holy Spirit STIR our hearts, minds and spirits. That you would fill us afresh and saturate us with your powerful Holy Spirit. Please Father overflow us with your passion, courage, boldness, zeal and compassion. Fill us that we can no longer sit still or be silent. Let your powerful Holy Spirit have His way in us, to us, with us, for us and through us!

Lord we submit our churches, pastors and our congregations to you. Make us the church you desire us to be. Take this amber of a prayer and fan it to flame with your powerful Holy Spirit. Let it become a raging fire of passion for you and your righteousness. Let us be your lamp stands to shine you BRIGHTLY everywhere we go and to the world! For America is so desperate for you O Lord and we your church are desperate for your Holy Spirit! Father do not pass us by for we want to be part of your mighty movement and to be your witnesses. Stir us Father God, stir us in Jesus wonderful nameAMEN!!

PRAYING and DECLARING are two of the most powerful things that we Christians can do! This prayer needs to be repeated daily until God's stirring occurs.

I pray that this prayer will gain support every time it is read and everywhere it goes. I pray that it will travel ALL over America. It is time to rebuild God's church. It is time for the STIRRING! Haggai 2:19 "From this day on I will bless you."
